I took a final look at myself in the full-length mirror in Lucy's bedroom. Not going to lie; I looked pretty hot. I had on a red dress that stopped mid thigh and it hugged my body perfectly. It enhanced my curves so that I looked like I had a nice sized bust and bigger breasts than usual. My ombre brown hair was perfectly straight all way down to the small of my back and I had on black heels that were about 4 inches. My make up was done perfectly by Lucy with a little eyeliner that didn't go too far and didn't end too short, my lipstick matched my dress perfectly and my eyeshadow look neutral so I didn't look like I got pied in the face with a box of Crayola's. I've never felt so pretty before.

"I would say did a pretty good job with you." Lucy said with cockiness as she saw me glancing at myself in the mirror.

"You did an amazing job! Plus look at you you look flawless!" I said gesturing to her short purple satin one strap dress, and her curled hair that didn't have a single piece sticking out whatsoever and her make up looked like it was done by Cover girl itself.

"Aw thanks. So, are you ready for this party?" Lucy asked me

"Uhhh well to be honest I'm not sure if I am....I mean I don't really know what to expect...." I trailed off feeling kind of stupidly anti-social

"It's okay Amb, I know you haven't really had any party experience whatsoever but I'll be there with you for every step of the way."

"Luc, You make it sound like I'm going through some life-changing event or something." I said with a laugh

"Well honey, it's kinda like a big step for you. Once you go partying you're going to want to go back for more, and more, and more, until you can't get enough of it. It makes you feel so alive."

When Lucy said that I Started rethinking if I should even go...I mean She's making it sound like it's some kind of drug that's legal.

Lucy must of saw the doubt I had in my expression so she spoke and said

"It's ok Amber. I'm your best friend. Trust me."

I glanced up at her and said

"Let's do this before have any second thoughts."

And with that we exited her house and hopped into her car.

The Drive to the party wasn't not long it took us about 15 minutes and another five to navigate our way through the neighborhood. Might I add that it was a very nice neighborhood; the house didn't even look like houses they looked like mansions and castles combined into one.

"Here we are!" Lucy squealed as she parked on the side of a beautiful house. The house looked about four stories tall with windows everywhere and it had a elegance to it that made it stand out against all the other houses.

"This house is beautiful." Is all I could manage to say while staring at it and unbuckling my seatbelt

"Yeah I know," said Lucy

"It's the kind house you live in when you're a Adams"

At that moment froze and realized why Drew talked to me today for technically the first time ever. He wanted to know if I was going to his party at HIS house. Well I guess that made a little more sense than not knowing anything but I was still confused as to why he wanted to know if I was going. Whatever. I decided to brush it off and just have a good time at the party.

When Lucy and I walked up to the house it was booming loud with the bass of dance music and through the window you could see colored lights flashing everywhere and people dancing inside. Outside there was hollering and people acting crazy running around, in what appeared to be a state of drunkness.
