I sat in the car and tried to get a glimpse of Demar’s brown hair or face as we drove.
I guess he noticed because I looked back at us.
”Is something wrong why you’re staring at me?” He asked cockily.
“No one would even want to glance at your repulsive face in the first place, much less stare at it.”Shan smirked.
“So says the ugly duckling” he replied.
I kept my mouth shut and watched different scenes pass by,
Thanking Heaven that Shan answered.
I’m hopeless right?,
I mean crushing on my BFF’s brother?

but its only a small one.
What can I do if he happens to be cute?
I jumped out of the car and made my way to the entrance of the mall as soon as we parked.
As soon as we entered we went separate ways.
We headed to the first store we saw.
We spent an hour in it before choosing a few dresses and two pairs of slippers for me and some t-shirts for Shan.
We then headed to a next store only to spend 2 minutes in there.
The clothes in their was NOT our style.
We then scanned our area and saw some really cute outfits in a store window.
”Oh look! Now that’s what I’m looking for!”
We spent about two hours in it …About.
I came out with some cute t-shirts and comfortable shorts, short shorts and skirts, blouse and jewelry to wear on the trip, as well as some summer dresses.
We both agreed to go to the food court and eat.
I agreed to find us a table while she ordered our food.
”I want a two pizzas and water” i said,
“okay” Shan nodded.
I made my way to a empty table across the food court.
I moved quickly trying not to hit people or bump into anyone
well as quickly as I could with five tons in both hands.
”Want some help?”
I quickly looked back but bumped into someone in the process.
“Sorry” I mumbled,
I looked up into the face of the victim I had crashed into.
A pair of caramel dark brown eyes looked down at me and I quickly looked down
“Really sorry” I said while making my way pass him.
He blocked my path and I was forced to look at him again.
”No worries, do you still need help?”he asked.
”Oh, you’re the one that asked?”
“Yeah, need help or not?”
“Yeah, Yeah I do…”I said trailing off
.He took some of the bags and followed me as I went to the empty table.
”What do you have in here? Bricks?” he said after lowering the bags and himself into the chair
.”Nah, just went shopping with my BFF”I smiled
“What, did you buy the whole store?” He joked
“Not yet, so be careful” I replied
“Oh I will” he said smiling.
He had a really nice smile, and paired with his face could melt the heart of any girl…
even his eyes alone were, were magnificent.
His dark curly mane was also attractive and fitted his face.
I was so completely focusing on his appearance that I didn’t realize he continued talking.
“Did you hear me” he said waving his hand up and down in front of my face.
”Uh..Um what?” I said snapping back to reality.
“I said, where is your friend?” he repeated
“Oh she’s buying our food” I said looking around.
I scanned the line
“And she is just ordering…wait no, no she’s picking it up……and she’s about to make her way over here” I continued
“oh, I see her”
“by the way you’re in her seat…” I said looking at him
“Oh,sorry” he said getting up.
”I’ll see you around, I’m Alex”
“Clare” I said standing up to shake his thick but soft hand
“I know “he said smiling and walking away.
”Wha-how do you know?!” I called after him.
He turned around and smiled and continued on his way.
“Oh so I see we made friends” Shan said wiggling her eyebrows while sliding in the both
“And a hot one at that”
“NO! We just met …and… He helped me carry some of my bags… well most of it, and… we just started to talk an-“
“You like him don’t you?!?”she asked cutting me of.
“No…well…we just met an-“
“OMG!! You like him!” She screamed cutting me off again.
I frowned at her
” First of all, stop cutting me off” I said glaring at her
“Second, WOULD YOU TALK SOFTER!”I shouted at her
“third of all, I never said I ‘liked’ him” I said using my hands to emphasize like.
”Whatever you say” she said with a smile plastered on her face.
”He’s really hot btw”
“Thanks for the update” I said sarcastically.
