Hi all you chicas and chickettes!

I pointed at the food in her hand
“Are we goanna eat that cause … I’m like starving”
“Duh”she said putting my food in front of me.
She placed hers in front of herself and we started to eat.
About half an hour later, we were singing at the top of our lungs to Teenage Dream, which was currently blasting through the radio.
“TEEN-AGE DREAM
IT’S TIME TO LIVE IT UP,
MA-HEART- FREEZE
WITH BABY JUST ONETOUCH
THIS- IS-REAL
SO TAKE A CHANCE AND DON’T EVER LOOK BACK
DON’T EVER LOOK BACK……”.
Shan stopped at a stoplight but kept on sing
“BABY PUT HANDS ON ME IN MA SKIN TIGHT JEANS IN A TEENAGE DREAM TONIGHT”
A Mercedes Benz pulled up beside us and the people in it looked at us weird.
“Excuse me, Excuse me…EXCUSE ME!” the lady in the driver seat shouted trying to get our attentions
We slowly turned the music and looked at her
“Yes ma’am?”
“Can you please turn down the music, I have a baby in the back who is trying to sleep”
I blushed.
To think all this time we were ignoring the lady, when we were disturbing a poor lil’ baby sleeping.
Shan just nodded and turned the music off.
“okay”
“Thank you” said the woman.
Presently the light said green so we sped off.
About three hours later I was a little still embarrassed, but I was also excited to pack.
I hadn’t seen grandma in like six years,
I heard her on the phone, chatted with her via skype but I haven’t talked or seen her in person and I miss her.
The few times I was there, I had a blast.
I went shopping, snorkeling or sometimes just talk or look at pictures with my grandma with me as a baby or mommy as a little girl, once I even went to the luxurious Dunn’s River Falls.
Those were memories I always wanted to cherish.
I sighed with content and continued packing until my mother made an appearance at my door.
” Hey …how’s the packing going?” she asked making her way inside my room
“Okay so far, although I don’t exactly know what to pack.” I confessed
“Well it’s a long time since you last travelled to visit my mom”
“Yeah I guess…”
“Everything should be the same, so don’t worry”
I nodded,
I guess that I didn’t expect there to be a dramatic change.
So mom was just stating the obvious.
