Harry ~ "Hey babe, how was your day at the studio?" you asked as he walked into the bedroom. You smiled widely when you saw your husband and sat up in bed. You were glad to see him, he's been gone all day. He shook his head before turning away. He began to take his shirt off as he walked into the bathroom, and you heard the shower turn on moments later.
"Harry?" you repeated, turning the television of and swinging your legs over the edge of the bed. He came out of the bathroom in only his boxers. Sighing, he looked at you with a little scowl on his face.
"Where were you today?" he asked, and you shrugged in response.
"Home. I was with your mum and Robin all day. I took them to that cafe we like on Spring street and then we went over to Cambridge square shopping. Why?"
"We had lunch plans?" You gasped, your hand flying up to cover your mouth as you remembered you were meant to meet him at your favorite cafe right by his studio.
"Oh, Harry... I'm so sorry. I- you know-" you tried. He continued to scowl at you, and you couldn't help but think it was adorable. "I've been really forgetful lately."
"Don't blame this on the pregnancy. I waited for you for nearly an hour and you didn't show up. You know many times I called you? I thought something happened to you! How do you think that made me feel?" He continued, getting louder. Your heart dropped as you saw his eyes go darker, something that only happened when he was really, really angry.
"I left my phone-" you began, but he pressed his finger to your lips, silencing you.
"No. You only think about yourself, you're selfish," he snapped.
"I spent the day with your parents, because you invited them to stay with us! I love them, but I'm tired and I just want to stay home. But I can't do that, because they came all the way to London and they don't want to stay in the house all day."
"Please, what's the big deal?! I've had to stay home from work to spend time with your parents!"
"You offer! Plus, you weren't 7 months pregnant!"
"Stop trying to make this okay!" He yelled loudly, too loud.
"Harry, shhhh! You're going to wake them up and your mum won't be happy that we're fighting." you reminded him.
"My mind went to the worst possible scenario when I didn't hear from you. I thought something horrible happened to you, the love of my life! You can't do that, you need to keep your phone on you. I had to call Robin, an hour later, because his shitty phone had not reception before then. I was scarred out of my mind, Y/N!" He yelled, not taking your warning into consideration. Once again, your heart shattered, only imagining what you had put Harry through.
"I thought you went into labor, or worse," he whispered, looking away from you. Seeing him like this, and knowing you caused it, you felt awful.
"I'm sorry, I really am. I'm so sorry," you said, your voice soft. You cupped his cheeks in your hands, forcing him to look you in the eyes. "I can't even imagine- I feel awful."
Harry sighed, running his hand down his face. "Babe," he whispered. He pulled you to his chest, awkwardly hugging you with your belly in the way. Your bump was too big for a proper hug, so this would have to do for the time being. You closed your eyes and snuggled your face into the warmth on his embrace. "I should've reminded you. I just was so scarred when you didn't show up. I was excited to have lunch with my favorite girls."
"I'm sorry," you said quietly, but he heard you.
"And you don't only think about yourself. I mean, you're giving me a child and going through so much to do so. That couldn't be more selfless. I didn't think she would affect you so much emotionally." He spoke slower than usual, but it calmed you . His soft lips pressed to your forehead, and you nearly melted. After all these years of being with him, he still affected you so much with the simplest of gestures. You opened your eyes and and looked at him, a small smile on your lips.
