Harry (your pov) ~ "Ready to swap?" he asked, looking over to you where you were sprawled out on the couch beside him.
"In a minute. Be patient," you giggled, and turned slightly so he couldn't see the piece of notebook paper resting on your knees. You stuck the end of the blue-inked pen between your teeth and twisted it around, trying to think. Sneaking a glance at him, you saw him playfully roll his eye and look at his list again.
You wrote down one more name, Harper, before saying, "Her middle name will be Anne. It's not up for debate. Just letting you know." You took his hand in yours and began playing with his fingers and running the pad of your thumb over the edge of his unevenly cut nails. Since you has told him you were pregnant, he began biting his nails. He said it was due to stress from his demanding career, but you knew he was lying. He was scared to be a father, and it wasn't his fault. You were scared too.
"Like mum?" he whispered, smiling so his dimples showed.
You nodded, "Who else? Besides, she's amazing, and you and I both look up to her so much. I want our daughter to be like her, so it makes sense, doesn't it?" He leaned into your side and you quickly tucked your list under your thigh so he wouldn't see.
"Thank you," he mumbled into your arm before leaning up and kissing your cheek. You smiled, and caressed his face with your hands while placing a soft kiss to his lips.
"I love you, Harry. More than anything," you told him.
"I love you, more than anything," he said back.
"Now, first names?" You said, taking his list and handing him your's. He had quite a few names, over 20. It read: Ava, Isabella, Jayden, Alice, Olive, Ella, Luna, Waverly, Avalon, Sutton, Rylan Grace, Violet, Vera, Crysta, Kayden, Sienna, Rosemary, Lavender, Kali, Maisie, Cordelia, Ophelia, Raya, Tia, Lani
"I like Cecilia," he said. You nodded slowly, and read over his list again. You liked almost all of them, with nearly every name standing out to you. One in particular: Cordelia. It just sounds so strong, yet feminine. It's classic yet modern, and could be spunky. It would work well for a little girl to a grown woman. Cordelia Anne Styles. Your little Delia.
"Cordelia," You said suddenly, making him look up from your list. He looked at you with a smile.
"That was one of my favorites. And look, you have Delia on here." he said, excitedly pointed to the piece of paper in his lap.
"So, Cordelia?" you asked, leaning your head to the side and biting your lower lip to suppress a smile.
"I love it, yes. Our Cordelia. Do you think we can call her Cora? Or just Cor. I was also thinking as a nickname...."
Niall (your pov) ~ "Ooh!" You screeched out, startled. Your fork dropped to your plate as you clutched your chest over your heart.
"What happened?" Niall asked frantically, obviously worried. You shook your head a little and stifled a laugh. He placed a hand over yours, which now rested directly over your belly button. Here in the secluded booth at the back of an extremely expensive restaurant, it was safe from anyone seeing you because of the curtain that was drawn. You were thankful for that. No rumors about you or Niall in the tabloids.
"The baby scared me, that's all," you smiled, "Little Horan's quite strong."
"Got a little footballer in there, I reckon, mate!" Louis exclaimed, a smile spread across his features. Niall laughed and nodded frantically.
"I'm hopin' so," he said, grinning from ear to ear. You could see the pride in his eyes when he looked at you and the baby. Despite the baby not even being born yet, neither of you could love them more.
