After Your mom so abruptly left, you go back downstairs to your room. It's just you and mom at the house so your home alone. You go downstairs and set your chicken pot pie on your desk.
You sit in your swivel chair and open up your laptop. It's already on YouTube  since you pretty much sit on YouTube when your not with your friends.
You type in 'Salem Witch trials'.
Lots of videos come up.
Might as well start with the first video.
Salem Witch Trials by historygeeks44

2 hours later you have watched a lot of videos. Not learning anything more then you already knew. You decide to shut it down. You close your laptop and grab your dirty plate and go upstairs. You set it by the dishwasher and walk back downstairs. You grab your phone and go to the down stairs bathroom.
You turn on the bath and wait for it to fill up. You grab your phone and and pull up Spotify. Playing your favorite playlist you undress and get in the bathtub. Sitting in the bathtub you think about the seven wonders. Which reminds you why you took a bath with music.  As you sit in the bathtub Tear in my heart comes on by Twenty øne piløts. This is your chance to try and manipulate time again. If you can stop this song. You think about it. Then you put your right hand up. And once again, the song stops. You take your hand down. The song keeps playing.
This is so queer.

You finish your bath and get into leggings and a sweatshirt. Going back to your room you get a text message from your mom.
The rest of the moms went home but I am going to stay out a bit longer. Is that okay?
She does this a lot. 'A bit' means I will see you in the morning not tonight.
You text back
Ya that's fine have fun.
You add the 'have fun' to make sure she stays out.
You stay on messages and pull up Jakes name.
You type
Hey Jake I'm willing to tell you the story now. I'm home alone so you can come on over.
You click send.
Within 10 minutes your doorbell rings.
Jake only lives a block or two away so you didn't expect a long wait.
You walk up from your room and get the door.
Jake stands outside.
He walks in and you close the door and lock it.
"I have some popcorn down stairs but if you want some other snack you have been to my kitchen before. Just grab it for yourself."
You tell him as you walk down to your room.
He goes to your fridge and grabs a water bottle then follows you.
You both walk down stairs.
You go and sit at your desk and he sits on the bean bag on your floor.
"So. You want to know."
You ask him.
"Um. Ya. You promised me the truth this time."
He gets real serious.
"Okay so everything I told you last time, was true."
He gives you a look.
"Buuuuut, I left some stuff out."
He nods.
"When I was running out to get Gracie's notebook. Well, our going to think I'm crazy."
He just gives you a look to keep going.
"Well. I should have gotten run over."
He puts up his eyebrows in confusion.
