Google told me lonely is,
Being sad because one has no friends or company.
My mother told me lonely is,
Not having support or someone to cheer you on.
My best friend told me lonely is,
Being by yourself with no one there for you.
My little sister told me lonely is,
Someone who doesn't have a bestie.
My auntie told me lonely is,
An inner feeling.
But if you ask me,
What is lonely?
I'll tell you lonely is,
Me.
Lonely is,
A state of mind.
Lonely is,
Feeling empty inside.
I am my own definition of lonely.
