(AYYYYYYYY/N: this is probably really out of character but this is kind of an experiment with what I can do)
Maki was called in today.
When she came back, she looked exhausted, and almost like she was just intensely sobbing.
I made her tell me what they did.
Maki said that they drained part of her abilities. The scientists decided she was too dangerous.
She said she was getting weaker by almost the minute.
"Well, anyway, it's almost lunchtime. I'll help you get there." I said to her, concerned.
By the time we got there, Maki said she didn't want to eat. I didn't want to upset her, so I told her it was alright. When I finished my lunch, I helped her out of the chair and back to our room.
I'm scared.
Could she die?
Like Hanayo?
By the time it was late night, Maki was reading a book.
"Eli?" she asked. I looked up.
"Could you turn out the lights?" Maki answered.
I nodded, and whispered a good night.
Maki's becoming paler and paler.
I almost cried today, because of all my fear.
Maki stayed in bed all day, content with a couple of books.
I'm not even scared.
I'm terrified.
The scientists noticed her condition, and after 2 days of suffering, they somehow gave Maki back her abilities. Maybe this isn't quite science, but magic.
And now Maki's really hyper.
I guess she got a sudden burst of energy from all that being put into her, after deep pain.
But it's so much better than Maki suffering. She can eat well now, but not as much sleep well.
