Amber started talking to me more often. We mostly talked about her, though. I still didn't feel like I could trust her yet. Wasn't sure if she would hurt me. The voice said she would. She has no reason to like you. She just feels sorry for you. She'll leave as soon as you say anything. I didn't want Amber to leave. I was actually starting to like her. She introduced me to some of her friends. Their names were Emily, Loralee, and Jenika. The Jenika.
They were pretty cool. Emily was about my height ( 5' 3"), had dark framed glasses, blue eyes, curly blonde hair that was about shoulder length (I also noticed a hint of pink at the tips), and was as skinny as a stick. She had tan skin that looked like she had just went to the beach. Loralee was slightly shorter than me and had pale skin with loads of freckles on her nose. She also had shoulder length hair, but hers was brown and had very obvious red dyed tips, and had green eyes.
They started letting me sit at there table during lunch, which I was very grateful for. Even though I was always squished, it felt good to be around people. Although Amber always seemed to be running off somewhere during lunch. I decided to ask her about it one day.
She sat next to me outside while we were waiting for the doors to open to let us in the school. I was wearing my baggy band hoodie, some boot cut blue jeans, and a pair of pink Converse. Even though I looked terrible, I was comfortable. "Hey" she said casually. "Why do you always run off during lunch?" I asked. It was probably pretty rude, but I really wanted to know. "Well... um, sometimes I go upstairs and eat lunch with this teacher, Mr. Houpt." She said. She seemed kinda embarrassed. I don't know why, I ate lunch with teachers all the time. It just confused me because she had alot of friends she could hang out with."Oh, cool." I said. "You should come sometime." She said quietly, so quiet I almost didn't hear her. "Uh, yeah sure. Sounds cool. I'll go today." I said. She just nodded as the doors to the school opened. I got up and sighed. Another day of living Hell.
