Jade's pov. //

All day I've been thinking about that kiss. I know im probably just over thinking it, and it was probably just a kiss... but it felt like something more than just a kiss. Me and Tre haven't said anything about it. We still talked the rest of the day, it was kind of awkward, but we still managed to maintain conversation.

"Hey..." Tre said to me as I caught up with him.

We were walking out of the building, heading to our usual end of the day spot.

"Hi." I said, giving him a soft smile.

"Billie wants you to come over, his mom is finally off today and he wants you to meet her.."

"Billie wants me to come over, or you want me to come over?" I laughed.

"We both want you to come over." Tre said, a smile growing on his face.

"Alrighty."

"Where are Billie and Mike?" I asked Tre, swinging my legs back and forth from the end of the ledge I was sitting on.

"Principle's office. They were spitting spit balls at each other in class..." He chuckled.

I giggled softly. Dorks...

"Sounds just like em'." I laughed.

There were a few moments of silence before Tre spoke up.

"So, uh... about what happened after lunch..." He started.

I took a breath, not really wanting to talk about what had happened.

"Yeah?" I mumbled, not looking at him.

"You're not mad at me for doing that... are you?" His voice was soft.

I looked at him very quickly and giggled.

"Oh gosh, no," I began.

I jumped down from where I was and stood in front of this silly, silly boy.

"Why would I be mad at you?" I asked, looking up at him.

"I don't know... Girls are weird like that." He mumbled.

"You're correct... But, still... No, I'm not mad at you for kissing me, Mr. Cool."

"Well, good." He continued to mumble.

There was a few seconds of silence, before we did what we thought would at least take another couple weeks to do. Tre leaned down a few inches to where his face was right in front of mine, placed a hand on my cheek and kissed me passionately, but also gently. I kissed back almost immediately, and extended my arms so they hung loosely around his neck.

We stayed like this for a few minutes, till we heard the mimicking and mocking of two boys that Tre and I were destined to hate right now.

"Get a room, fellas!"

"Oooooh, Tre and Jade sitting in a tree!"

"I fucking knew it! Tre, you are one smooth fucker!"

Me and Tre parted, then looked at Billie Joe and Mike, who were standing a few feet away from us.

"Finally, I thought I had to wait for centuries!" Billie shouted.

"Shut the hell up!" Tre shouted back.

"So, you guys are  finally together now, right?" Mike asked.

Tre and I looked at each other, then looked back at Mike.

"Yeah.." We both said in unison, nodding our heads.

We all high fived each other, then made our way to Billie's car.

"I'm just gonna assume that Tre told you that my mom was off today and that I wanted you to meet her, before you guys decided to suck each other's faces off, that is." Billie chuckled.

"Go step on a Lego, Armstrong." I mumbled.

"Oh! Harsh!" Mike shouted, with Tre ooh-ing along, and also taking a hold of my hand.

"God damn, Deen... I don't think I've ever been so hurt..." Billie laughed.

We all just laughed for a few minutes, then continued our drive to Beej's house.
