Jade's pov. //

As I sat down at our table, I saw that Billie, Mike and Tre all looked dead. Billie was resting his head on his hand and staring blankly at the table, and Mike and Tre were both laying their heads down.

Billie then looked at me and said, "Why do you look so awake..."

I shrugged. "I might look it, but i'm not. It's 7:21 in the morning for crying out loud!" I said.

"Touché." He mumbled.

We all just sat in silence for a few minutes, till the bell rang and all of us just groaned. We all stood up one by one and starting walking to our class, really, really slowly.

When we got to class and sat down, Billie turned to me and whispered, "Drop out with us..." out of nowhere.

"Are you crazy, Armstrong, my dad's gonna kill me!" I whisper shouted, making Mike and Tre look at me.

"Why is your dad gonna kill you?" Tre asked, you can tell he was trying not to laugh.

Me and Billie both looked at each other, then Billie looked at Tre and said, "Because she's gonna drop out with us a couple days before the tour."

"Well i'm planning on graduating, why cant she just stay with me?" Mike said.

"Yeah, why cant I just stay with Mike!?" I continued to whisper shout.

"Because Tre is gonna be lonely while his girlfriend is stuck here at school, so just drop out with us.." Billie said, looking at me and Tre.

I immediately looked away and covered my face with my hand, but i heard Tre whisper, "Dude, shut up, she's not my girlfriend..."

"But she will be." Billie said, sounding like he was trying to make a point.

I looked back at them and they were all staring at me.

"What..." I mumbled.

"Are you dropping out with us or not, Deen!?" Billie hissed.

"Uh..." I murmured.

"I guess. There's nothing school can really do for me anyway so..." I finally said after a few moments of silence.

"Yes!" Billie and Tre shouted, high fiving each other.

The teacher then yelled at us to be quiet, causing all of us to snicker quietly.

I guess i'm gonna drop out of school, now... sorry dad.

Lunch.

Tre's pov. //

"Why do they have to have such hard seats... my butt hurts!" I said to Jade a few seconds after sitting down on the hard plastic that this school calls a chair.

She busted into a fit of laughter and covered her face with her jacket sleeves, making me chuckle a bit.

"They're not that hard, Tre... maybe your ass is just sensitive." She teased after she was done laughing.

I gave her a look and said, "My butt is not sensitive, how dare you be so rude!"

"Oh, I'm sorry, is that your butt getting at you again?" She continued to joke.

I laughed and said, "Okay, this conversation is over!"

"Alright..." She mumbled, shaking her head.

We laughed for a few seconds, then I asked, "So... are you really gonna drop out with me and Billie?"

"Yeah." She said, not looking up from the table.

"What's wrong?" I asked, getting up and sitting in the seat next to her and nudging her gently with my arm.

She looked up at me and said, " My dad's literally gonna kill me, Tre..."

I sighed.

"Well, our parents aren't gonna be so fond of the idea either, y'know. We haven't even told our parents, yet.." I said.

"But it'll be more expected coming from you two because you guys are the ones in the band. I'm just a tag along." She laughed a little at the end.

How could she think she's just a tag along!?

"You're not a tag along! You're our friend, and you're like family.. we wouldn't just bring you for no fucking reason.." I shouted quietly, not wanted to draw attention.

Once she saw that I was upset, her face completely changed.

"Tre... that's not what I meant..." She whispered, shaking her head.

I looked at her for a few seconds, then I heard Billie's voice.

"Heyyyy.." He said, him and Mike sitting down in front of me and Jade.

"Jade thinks our parents are gonna be fine with us dropping out." I blurted out.

"I didn't say that!" She whined, throwing her hands in the air.

"What?" Billie laughed.

Jade turned to him and said, "I said, for you and Tre, it's gonna be a lot easier to drop out than it will be for me. You and Tre have a reason to drop out, I don't."

Billie looked at me, then looked at Jade and said, "Do you understand how stupid you sound?"

"What do you mean..." She mumbled.

"You do have a reason. That reason is; you're fucking coming with us. Your dad will understand... hopefully. "

11:43 am.

Tre's pov.

The entire time at lunch, I couldn't help but look at Jade... I couldn't help but admire her beauty. I want to kiss her, but I don't know if I should.

Maybe I should just man up and do it...

As we were all walking out of the cafeteria, I slowed down a bit so that I was walking next to Jade, and after a few seconds, I stopped walking completely.

She stopped too, turned around and asked, "Hey, why'd you stop?"

I looked down at her, and didn't say anything. I bent down, grabbed her face and quickly planted a soft kiss on her lips, then looked at her again, only to see a look of full shock on her face.

"I am so sorry..." I whispered, looking at her.

She looked away and mumbled, "No, uh... you're fine..." her face becoming a light shade of pink.

I was mentally screaming now. Mainly because I caN'T BELIEVE I HAD THE BALLS TO DO THAT, but also because I don't know if she wanted me to do that.

We continued walking to class, in complete awkward silence, but as soon as we sat down, she looked at me and gave a soft smile.

Oh my god, okay, shes not mad at me okay we're good, we. are. good.
