Jade's pov. //
Just as Runnin' With The Devil by Van Halen finished, Billie pulled into his driveway, right next to a brown Ford Pinto.
"Mama Armstrong has a pretty neat ride!" I giggled to myself.
"Mom's had that car for years... I'm surprised how it hasn't broken the fuck down yet..." He almost mumbled.
We were still in the car for a few minutes, before Tre caught our attention.
"Okay, can we go in now... I'm so hungry I can eat every single one of you." He said, his voice full of aggressiveness. He was literally squeezing my hand at this point.
With that, we all stepped out of the car and ran to the door, bursting through it and almost giving Ollie Armstrong a heart attack.
"Jesus, boys, every time I'm home you- oh hi! Who's this pretty little thing?" Ollie exclaimed, ending her sentence looking at me and smiling.
"This is Dee- I mean Jade. Jade, this is the woman who gave birth to me 19 years ago; Ollie!" Billie chuckled as he introduced us.
I stepped forward and offered a handshake.
"Nice to finally meet you, Mrs. Armstrong." I greeted with a smile.
"You too, dear. And oh, please, call me Ollie!" She smiled a warm smile.
Billie then ran next to his mom and shouted, "Yay!!! Now you know who my mom is!"
"Great. Can I have food now?" Tre asked from behind me.
"Dude... you know where the kitchen is..." Billie said, giving him a weird look.
"Nah, dude.. isn't it outside?" He hissed.
"I didn't want to be rude, since Ollie's here and everything, but fine, I guess i'll just bE A FUCKING ASSHOLE!" He basically yelled as he slumped his way into the kitchen.
"I guess you learn new things about someone you've known for a while every day, huh..." I mumbled, looking down.
"Oh, yeah.. Tre's kind of a grouch when he's hungry.." Mike said.
"Now you tell me..."
"Why don't you go cheer him up, y'know, since you're his girlfriend and everything." Billie Joe teased.
As soon as Billie finished his sentence, Ollie looked up.
"Wow, you are Tre are dating?" She asked, slightly surprised.
I looked at her and blushed.
"Yeah..." I mumbled, smiling to myself.
"Oh... I didn't expect that..." She said in a hushed tone.
I looked up at her quicker than you can say the shortest word in the dictionary and said, "Why is that?"
"Oh I didn't mean to offend anybody, sweetheart... It's just... I would've thought Billie was more you're type than Tre." She said, laughing a little.
Me and Billie then looked at each other, before Billie stepped up and said, "Okay, things just got a little weird. Deen, go calm you're boy..."
I followed his orders immediately and walked into the kitchen, only to see Tre shoving Doritos into his mouth.
He looked up and gave an innocent smile. I walked over to him and giggled.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Mmhmm." He nodded his head.
"Sorry... I was just really hungry.." He said after he swallowed the mouthful of Doritos.
"I see that." I giggled once more and rested my head on his shoulder.
"So I don't think Ollie approves..." Tre mumbled after a few minutes of silence.
"Of what?" I asked.
"Of us. You heard her... 'You look more like a Billie girl than a Tre girl!' ." He mocked.
"Oh. Well that doesn't mean she doesn't approve of us. Even if she didn't, it doesn't really matter, because she's not your mom or my mom.."
"But she's our best friend's mom."
I just sighed and kissed his cheek.
"We'll be fine."
