"Wake up!" Jason said plopping down on my bed.

I slowly opened my eyes and read the clock. Six thirty. Ugh.

"Come on, Callie," he said laying down on top of me.

"Okay I'm awake!" I said against the back of his head.

"I know," he said giving me a cheesy smile.

"Butt," I said hitting him with my pillow.

I quickly got dressed and did my hair before grabbing a pop tart for breakfast. Luckily I had A lunch with Cameron and suprisingly Jason, at eleven thirty. We figured out later that it had to do with your first name. A-M had A lunch and N-Z had B lunch.

"Are you ready?" Jason asked.

"Yeah," I said grabbing my backpack and following him out the door to the his truck.

I actually fell asleep during the fifteen minute ride becuase I was so tired. I was just glad I didn't have to ride the bus to school. I've heard from multiple people and I can only imagine how bad and annoying it would be to have to ride the high school bus.

"So I'll meet you here at three fifteen," Jason said, waking me up.

"Oh yeah, right," I said getting out of the car, still sleepy.

I followed Jason into the school and luckily there had been an open house that week so I knew where my locker and classes were.

"Hey!" Cameron said running over to me.

"Hey," I said back. I was happy to see he was wearing the beanie I got him for his birthday.

Cameron and I had first period together, lunch, and all of our afternoon classes together. We both went to our lockers to get our books and then met in our first period classroom, which was English. I don't mind English, other than the fact that I tend to not pay attention to details and even when I do, I always get points off for having the wrong formatting when writing papers. Therefore, atleast last year, English was my lowest grade. Cameron and I found seats near the back next to each other. Before lunch, I had Geometry, World Geography, and Art. Art was a nice class to have before lunch, because I didn't necessarily have to pay super close attention, but I really did enjoy art a lot. Cameron and I stood in the lunch line and when we finally made it through, we began to search for a table. I hated being the new kids in school, because we had no idea where people normally sat. We eventually found a table near the windows with one girl sitting there. She looked about our age so I assumed she was in our grade.

"Hey can we sit here?" I asked her.

"Oh, uh, yeah sure," she said looking up from her mashed potatoes.

"So how was the morning?" Cameron asked me as we sat down.

"Okay I guess. I almost slept through Geometry because I'm seriously so tired."

"Yeah, I like the teacher, though," Cameron said.

"Yeah me too," I replied.

We sat in silence for a while and I began to think about the girl sitting across from us. She had medium length brown hair that was super straight and parted into side swept bangs. She wore a black cardigan over a faded black t-shirt that had been cut into a tank top. I think she bought it that wasy. She also had on denim skinny jeans and solid black high top converse. She wore more makeup then me, but not too much to where it looked ridiculous or anything. She mostly just had on eyeliner and mascara. She had a small face that complamented her big light brown eyes.

I finally decided I needed and wanted to say something to her.

"Hi, I'm Callie," I said to her. She turned to look at me and seemed a little surprised that I had talked to her.
