"Yeah, serves you right," I ceased the chance. Sev's thug friends ran out and huddled around Sev. He was sputtering and cursing. Then I started hurriedly walking away. I didn't need anymore trouble and my eye hurt.. bad. Sirius not far behind. There were no mirrors anywhere and the compartment doors didn't offer a good reflection. Dammit, I thought covering my eye with my hand as much as possible.
"Does it really look horrible?" I whispered. Sirius nodded. "Thanks for doing saving my butt though. Back there I mean"
"No big deal," he replied. "Hey, why don't we sit in an empty compartment and I'll see what I can do for your eye."
"Okay." We walked into the next empty compartment and sat down across from each other.
"Episkey," That spell was supposed to heal minor injuries such as broken noses or split lips. No good, my eye still felt puffy.
"Um let me try this," he said after thinking for a moment. "Reparifors!" My eye instantly felt better. Sirius was literally a life saver! He stood up and I hugged him really tight.
"Thanks," I whispered burying my head into his chest. He was at least six inches taller than me. I pulled away and stared into his eyes. They were pretty eyes, the kind you could get lost in. He grabbed the sides of my head and before I knew what was happening we were passionately kissing. I mean as passionately as you can at about 14 years old. I found my arms wrapped around his neck. This was an amazing start to the school year. But in my miind I knew it couldn't last.
Finally Sirius pulled away after what seemed like an eternity, not that it was bad or anything. "Sorry," he said, but he didn't sound sorry in the least.
"Sir, you know we can't be together. I mean if we broke up it would tear our friendship apart," I replied crossing my arms across my chest.
"Who said anything about us dating?"
"YOU JUST FRIGGIN KISSED ME SIR," I yelled and added before he could say anything. "Let's wait a few years until we're more mature, okay?" Sirius nodded.
Gawd, I hate myself I thought when Sirius had left the compartment. You know what? He'll want me still in a few years. What am I worrying about?
