'Sirius'ly Black

Graduation

It was the last day of my seventh year. I packed up my suitcase full of my textbooks, cloaks, ect. James and Remus were planning to hide the Maruader's Map for some other lucky mischief maker, though they doubted anyone would be able to see it. They said something about hiding it under a loose floorboard in their dormitory.

Many years later Fred and George Weasley accidently come upon the Marauder's Map under a floorboard in their dormitory. They mess around with the blank parchment and a map of Hogwarts appears.....

"Wingardium Leviosa," I commanded pointing my wand at the heavy suitcase. I was finally 17 and allowed to use my magic freely. It lifted a few feet about the ground and I directed it so it floated out the Girls' Dormitory door and into the main common room. There groups of kids tearily said their farewells for the summer or hexing each other playfully.

Belatrix strode over and we exchanged a quick goodbye before her and her luggage disappeared into the Slytherin crowd. I scanned the crowd for the person I most wanted to talk to here. I spotted him making his way purposefully to the door.

"Sev," I called and ran, pushing my way through and hitting a number of kids with my luggage, to him. "Sev." I said again tapping his shoulder. He turned around, a smug look on his face.

"Yes?" He said forcidly.

"Lily, she-she is still your best friend," I had to practically scream to hear myself over the crowd.

"So what?"

"Watch out for her, Sev," I pushed past him out the door. He stared at my back as I ran up the stairs.

Sirius and the others, including Lily were waiting for me at the top of the stairs. Lily was practically bursting with her excitement.

"What's up Lily?" I whispered to her.

"James asked me if I wanted to stay at his house for the summer," she squealed hopping up and down.

"That's good for you. But Lily," She quickly nodded. "No hanky panky sweetie. I don't want to find you pregnant at Christmas." She giggled and hugged me.

"No worries Tori," she said matter-of-factly putting her hands on her hips. "James is professional." Another giggle.

"Oh yeah," she playfully punched me in the shoulder. "Good for you, I heard Sirius asked you the same thing." I shook my head. What was she talking about? Her face fell and she turned back to James.

Sirius made his way over to me. He put his arm around me and we all walked out to the carriages together. What if he was going to ask me and Lily just accidently spilled. Oh, I still had hope!

Lily was tearfully saying how much she would miss me and I was assuring her over and over that I would visit at Christmas. Remus was shaking terribly. I felt bad for the poor guy; werewolves weren't exactly loved in the Wizarding World. Finally Lilly busied herself asking James about his family so I turned to Remus.

"Feel free to stay with me whenever," He smiled feebly.

"Thanks." he replied.

The carriages stopped and our group moved unto the Hogwarts Express. We sat in our old compartment together as we had four years ago. Sirius seemed a mess of nerves as the train rolled along. He kept looking nervously at me until finally I shot a impatient look back at him.

"I have to go to the bathroom," He announced and walked out. But there was no bathroom he even-, I started to think. Then I was like ohhhhhhhhhhhh. And I walked out, too. He was waiting out in the hall for me.

"Took you long enough, I thought you'd remember," He frowned.

"Well sorry," I said sarcastically. "What's up with you anyways? It's our last day together and you are acting really strange."

"I'm only acting strange," he snapped back. "Because I don't think you'll say yes if I ask you if you want to stay with me at my house this summer!" My mouth fell open. He wanted me to stay with him after all!

"Of course I want to stay with you!" Sirius never spoke of his family, although Regalus, his brother was in my house. I think his parents were dead though.

"Okay," he smiled his gentle smile and we walked back into our compartment.

I told you, Lily mouthed when she saw me walk back in with a huge grin on my face.

"Now Tori and Sirius can visit us at Christmas," she nudged him and he realized what had happened.

"Congratulations," He smacked Sirius on the back and hugged me. Lily clapped her hands gleefully and the whole compartment burst into applause. I didn't realize why they were making a big deal about it was until later.......
