"Promise you'll stay with me and I'll never let you fall" - Avion Roe ft Kellin Quinn - Into The Rest

Michael opened his eyes slowly and found himself wrapped in a pair of arms.

He looked up in panic but he relaxed when he saw Luke's sleeping face.

Michael took a deep breath of Luke's smell and nuzzled his head further into his chest, knowing later he might not get the chance.

Luke stayed sound asleep as Michael cuddled him. Soon though the sun peeked through the curtains and Luke started to stir.

Michael didn't think he was fully awake so decided to shift to make himself more comfortable.

He dragged himself upwards and groaned suddenly at the friction he had created.

He saw that Luke didn't notice so with a devilish smile he pulled up again.

His eyes widened when he heard a low moan coming from Luke.
Michael shrunk backwards a little, scared to move at all.

His breath hitched when Luke gripped his hips, still in a sleepy state, and rolled him up on his hips again.

"Fuck." The blonde whimpered.

Michael coughed, completely flustered. "L-Luke,"

Luke's eyes shot open and he looked down at Michael, instantly paling.
"Shit sorry I-"

"I-it's okay." Michael giggled nervously.

Luke looked down. "Oh shit."

"W-would you like to use the shower?"

"Uh, yeah thanks." Luke got up awkwardly and went to the bathroom.
Michael had a small smile on his face as he placed a towel and some clothes he thought Luke might like inside on the floor.

He held back a giggle at the moans escaping the shower, leaving silently before Luke knew he was there.

When Luke came out with damp hair and dressed in Michaels clothes he looked embarrassed.

"I'm really really sorry I just-"

"It's alright." Michael shushed him and carried on watching the tv, pulling at the sleeves of his hoodie.

"Y-you look nice." Luke said quietly as he sat next to him.

"Thanks." Michael smiled.

"Michael?"

"Yeah?"

"Why do you not eat?"
Michael tensed slightly, looking down.

"I know I'm not physically what I should be."

"What are you talking about? You're great. When did this start?" Luke frowned.

"It... I used to be happy with myself but my boyfriend told me he would leave me if I didn't get in better shape. I tried for months but he said I wasn't skinny enough and he's gone now." Michaels eyes started to water, shocked that he'd even told that story.

"That's disgusting."

"I loved him," Michael wiped his eyes. "I still do. That's why, I just want him to come back and tell me I'm beautiful and we can be happy like we were before."

"Michael look at me." Luke said. When he got no response he knelt in front of Michael on the bed. He peeled his hands from his face and held them tightly.

"You can't wait on someone to maybe come back or maybe love you again. If they don't want to love you properly they miss their chance. Time is valuable. If they can't make their mind up make it for them."

"Don't panic on me," Luke warned and michael nodded quietly.

"But I think you're one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen. And I don't want you waiting up for someone who you're worth a million of. He isn't coming back Michael and even if he was, you don't need him. You were happy before he came along and you can be happy now."

Michael looked up at him. "H-he helped me so much though."

"Sometimes it doesn't matter what they did for you, how they helped. Sometimes you have to look back and go 'you know what? No, you're not helping me anymore' and leave. If they have a problem with that then they shouldn't have stopped. It isn't selfish to save yourself."

Michael began to cry again, holding himself.

"It hurts. I miss him."

"It's okay to hurt, you're helping yourself. Helping yourself sometimes means to hurt for a while but in the long term you're doing the right thing. Beyond all the feelings you have right now, factually, you know you're better off alone or with someone else, so do that."

Luke wrapped his arms around the now crying Michael and stroked his hair softly.

"You're not just s-saying that?"
Luke shook his head.

Michael whispered. "Okay."

"Forget that guy. Whether you wanna be with me or not, I want you to forget about him, for you."

Michael nodded. "You like me?"

"I really do."

The small boy smiled through tears and Luke chuckled, wiping some from his face.

"If the boner didn't give it away," the two started to laugh and soon Michaels tears had dried.

"Wanna come get some breakfast?" Michael asked.

Luke smiled and grabbed Michaels hand, going to eat with michael.

Cigarettes hadn't even crossed his mind.
