Michael woke up in hospital with a doctor hovering over him.

"Hello Mr Clifford." The doctor greeted.

Michael began to panic.

"I assure you everything is fine," the doctor said lowly and Michael started to calm down.

"You fainted. We believe you haven't been eating for a while, but having spoken to your friend Mr Hemmings we don't believe this is any mental disorder. We would just like you to start eating properly and come back to see us if there are any problems. Alright?"

Michael could only nod.
What had Luke told them?

The doctor said he would be back in a little bit with sign out papers and left.

Soon the door opened and Michael saw a familiar head of blonde hair.

"Michael?" He gasped and rushed over.

He sat on the plastic chair next to the bed. Michael blankly stared at his face, seeing tears pouring from his eyes. By the looks of things, he'd been crying for quite some time.

"Oh god I thought I- I thought you wouldn't wake up." Luke sniffled.

Michael couldn't say anything. Honestly? He was scared. He was scared that this had gone too far.

"You're coming home with me," Luke stated.

"No." Michael croaked.

"Yes." Luke scoffed. "You think I'm gonna let him upset you? No. Don't even argue with me."

Michael looked into his eyes, and Luke stated into his.

Luke knew Michael was scared, deep behind his "love" for Kellin.

"Okay." Michael whispered.

When Michael had gotten dressed in the bathroom the two left and got in Luke's car.

Michael was still so weak it took a while for them to get there but Luke didn't mind holding his arm around his shoulder to help him.

That's all he ever wanted to do for michael, help.

Michael lay back in the passenger seat, exhausted. He shivered slightly as Luke looked over.

"You look cold." Luke said.

"Am not." Michael snapped.

Luke sighed and reached down to the bottom of his jumper, pulling the extra layer over his head. He handed it to Michael.

Michael looked at the boy who was now only wearing a short sleeved shirt and rolled the extremely oversized sweater on his body.

"Thanks." He mumbled.

It was a long drive and even with Luke's sweater Michael was cold. Luke seemed to notice a second time.
He pulled over on the side of the road and michael watched him walk to the trunk, pulling out a large fluffy blanket.

He shut it and got back in the car, draping the blanket over Michael softly.

"Y-you didn't have to do that." Michael blushed.

"I wanted to." Luke said as he drove. "That's the difference between me and HIM."

Michael frowned and looked down.

"You can sleep now if you want Mikey," he sighed. "I'll wake you up when we get there."

Michael nodded and snuggled into the blanket. It smelt like Luke and he wanted to smile but it would look creepy.

Luke looked to the side for a second and noticed Michael had fallen asleep in five minutes. He didn't really expect him to stay awake.

He began to sing softly to the song on the radio as he reflected on how much he's really missed Michael.

He'd never met someone like Michael before.

They pulled up to his house and he sighed, not wanting to wake Michael.

He walked over to his side and unbuckled his seat belt and removed the blanket, picking him up in his arms.

He felt sick at how skinny Michael was now since the last time he picked him up, which was actually the first time he saw Kellin.

He locked the car and carried michael into the house. He'd had to tell his mum what was going on and she said Michael could stay if he wanted.

Luke placed michael on the couch and fetched him another blanket to sleep with.

He tucked him in and kissed his forehead softly.

"Sweet dreams baby."
