Alright these chapters are always short, but this one is even shorter than usual. I don't think it even qualifies as a chapter, but you know what, I think I'm gonna have to post it anyway.
Okay. Onward.
Last time... Lana dragged herself into Chase's school, and who would find her but our best man himself? He struck with love at first sight, and Chase takes Lana to the nurse. While they are trying to clean her up, screams omit from the hallway and beastly roars echo through the halls. The nurse goes to see what is going on through the glass window in the door, and unfortunately, she is spotted by a couple creatures and mutts. The door smashes in and the nurse is torn to bits. Chase runs away from the commotion with Lana, the dog chasing him. He escapes to the storage room where he falls asleep, leaving Lana on the table to rest. He hopes she doesn't die. He wakes up a little later when the bell goes off because it is on a timer. Lana has moved since he last saw her. He hears creatures talking in the hallway and he hides in the cabinet, taking a still unconscious Lana with him so she doesn't get eaten. A creature finds them in the cabinet, and just as it is about to devour Chase, the devilish red in it's eyes turns to the same green as Chase's. The creature looks heartbroken for a second, but just as quickly as it came, the green is gone and the red is replenished. He whispers the ending word to the chapter... "Mom." IT WAS HIS MOM GUYS!!! AAAAAAHHH!!! PLOT TWIST!!!
King Creature time.

We scavenged through the streets of the town, the one that had recently been searched. I would kill that girl for what she did. I would kill her. She murdered the creature with the mutation, with the biggest potential out of all of us. Not only that, she is my last link to humanity. She was my daughter, and she cannot bind me to those cockroaches .
She would pay. I would get her if it's the last thing I do.
I had devised a plan to find headquarters. We would use the old nuclear power plant, maybe even causing new mutations because of the radiation levels there.
But my real plan, my ultimate plan, was something much bigger than to kill a mere girl. I wanted power, revenge on these pitiful creatures called humans. I would destroy their world. I would put them through a misery their puny brains never could have fathomed. Even if it takes my life, I will do it, for the acidic need never stabilizes.
I have to.
I will take over the world.
