Andrea's P.O.V

NEXT DAY
I was so ready to get out of the hospital, I didn't convince Kellin to take me shopping but he said he had something prepared for me and I'm really excited.
"Ready to go, princess?" Justin asked as he got in.
They had been calling me princess since yesterday and I like it, "Yes, I am"
He grabbed my bag and we made our way out the room and towards the lobby, where the rest were waiting for us.
"So, which is Kellin's surprise?" I asked.
"You'll see..."
We reached the guys and I hugged my brother, who kissed my cheek.
"So, how you're feeling?" he asked.
"Great, we're finally leaving this place" I said. "And I'm ready to have some fun"
"No...You’re going straight to your bunk to rest"
"Kellin, come on...she deserves to have some fun" Jack said.
"Fine, but no running"
I nodded as we all walked out the hospital and made our way towards Starbucks to get breakfast. I'm not allowed to drink coffee but at least I want some hot chocolate...I took a seat between Jack and Kellin, he said he doesn't wants to leave my side ever again and I know he's going to keep his promise.
"So, what you want for breakfast?" Kellin asked.
"Pancakes, with eggs and bacon and hot chocolate..."
"Okay..."
I've trying so hard to get over everything Kellin did to me...him hitting me, doesn't stops replaying in my mind, but I love my brother and I know things will get better.
"Excuse me..." I said as I stood up and made my way out. I just want to be alone and cry...Before, I could even break down I felt arms wrapped around me.
"What wrong, baby girl?" he asked.
"I'm fine, Kellin" I said.
"No, you're not...tell me" he said as he made me face him.
"I'm good"
He sighed, "You know, I'm here right?"
I nodded.
"By the way, your phone was ringing and since I didn't want to bother you...I just turned it off" he said as he gave me my phone.
I turned it on and searched for the missed calls...they were Blocked numbers, so I called back and a woman answered, "Hello is this Andrea Quinn?"
"Yes, it is" I said.
"I'm calling from your mom's rehab center and I just wanted to tell you, she's out and you're able to go back to her whenever you want"
"Really?"
"Yes"
"Thanks"
"You're welcome"
I hung up and a few tears went down my cheeks as I remember my promise to Kellin.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"My mom is out of rehab" I said.
"Andie, you should be happy!"
"I am, but remember my promise?"
"Which promise?"
"I promised you that when my mom was out, I was leaving you and you'll never hear a thing about me ever again"
"Andie..."
"And it's a promise I'm going to keep, Kellin. I never break promises..."
"Andie, we weren't close back then and I know--"
"Stop, we both know you're this because you feel you have to and it's okay if you never wanted me but I want you to know I did" I said as I walked away.
I walked the short distance to the tour bus and started to pack my stuff...it was hard for me to tell him all those things and it breaks my heart into pieces too but there's nothing I can do...a promise is a promise.
"Andie?" he said as he walked towards me.
I looked at him.
"Please don't leave"
"I have to"
"No, you don't have to...those are things we said to each other when we were blind, Andrea!"
I shook my head and kept packing.
"What you want me to do? To beg on my knees"
"You know nothing will make me change my mind, Kellin...I'm sorry"
My flight is taking off this afternoon and I'm dying to see my mom, but at the same time I don't want to leave Kellin but I have to and I promised.
~TIME LAPSE~
It was time to go and last few hours was hell for me...Jack will leave me at the airport, while the others are heartbroken. I wish they could understand I'm not needed here, but somewhere else.
I said bye to everyone as Jack grabbed my stuff and we stepped out the bus. I wanted to run back to Kellin's arms but I can't...Jack opened the car door for me; I got in and looked out the window.
Jack walked around and got in the driver's seat, "Are you okay?"
I nodded.
"Andrea, Kellin is really hurt with your decision"
"It wasn't mine, it was his" I said.
"His? You're the one who wants to leave"
"No...He’d always wanted me to leave and now his wish is coming true, Jack"
He sighed and shook his head as he started the car.
The ride was silent and I didn't want to keep arguing...I built beautiful memories with these guys, but I don't have a lot to remember with Kellin. All I want is to see my mother and be in her arms again, I just want to forget that all this happened.
~TIME LAPSE~
We arrived to the airport and my flight is taking off in 8 minutes. I couldn't help but look at Jack...I know he's disappointed but I'm doing this because I love them, each one of them.
"Are you mad?" I asked.
"I'm not mad, Andie"
"Disappointed?"
He shook his head.
"Then, what?"
"Andie, I just want you to realize you're doing wrong" Jack said.
"What I'm doing wrong, Jack?"
"You're not giving Kellin a second chance"
"I did, Jack and I love my brother but my mother comes before anything. okay?"
"Are you planning to come back?" he asked.
I shook my head.
"Why not?"
"Because I promised I wouldn't"
"Andie, I know promises weren't made to be broken but you can break this one"
"No, I can't...I had never break a promise, Jack and I can't"
"At least, remember we're here for you and you don't have to leave us behind" he said.
I nodded as I hugged him...
"I just hope you don't regret this" he said.
That's my problem, I don't know if I'm going to regret this...I said bye again and got in the plane, when I found my seat I pulled my phone out and saw all the memories I built with this guys. I wanted to cry and run out the plane so bad, but I won't...
A FEW HOURS LATER
I felt wonderful as I stepped out the plane. I'm home and everything is going to be great from now and on...I smiled as I saw my mom and ran towards her.
"Mommy..." I said.
"I missed you so much, baby girl" she said.
"I missed you too"
"You'll see, things will change...I'm no longer depressed and I'll try my best to take care of you"
"I'm so happy for you, mom"
She smiled, "And how were things around Florida?"
"Well...I got to meet Kellin"
"And is he everything you imagined?"
I just nodded.
"Well, that's good"
"Yeah..."
"So, I did your favorite cake and there's someone who wants to see you"
"Really? Who?"
"You'll see when we get there"
I sighed, "Okay..."
We walked towards the parking lot and we got in the car. I know things will get better for Kellin, since I'm not around and all I brought were problems for him and the guys and I don't want to be a burden to them.
"What's wrong, beauty?" mom asked.
"I'm just missing Kellin"
"Call him"
I shook my head, "He's on tour and I don't want to bother him"
"Oh, okay"
"So, who's waiting for me at home?"
"You'll see, dear"
We were so close to the our house, but I didn't feel excited at all but at the same time I want to know who's waiting for me. I mean, I barely have friends and I barely even talk to the neighbors, plus they started to talk a lot of shit when they found out my mom was in rehab.
We pulled over and we got out the car...I grabbed my stuff and followed my mom into the house, when I got in I couldn't believe it.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I wanted to see you" he said.
"I thought you were never coming back...you even stopped calling" I said as I sat next to him.
"I know, but I want you to know I was thinking about you the whole time. I never meant to stop calling and writing you"
"Damon, I missed you so much" I said as I hugged him.
"I missed you too" he said as he kissed my cheek.
"I'll leave you guys alone, so you can talk"
"So, how were things around Florida?"
"So...I found your brother and I got to meet some bands" I said.
"Elliot?"
I nodded.
"I thought he hated to be between "emos""
I rolled my eyes, "Then why is he working for a rock magazine?"
He shrugged.
Damon is my best friend and Elliot’s little brother...he left 3 years ago for Spain to live with his grandparents since his mother died. At first, he used to call and text me, but one day he stopped answering my calls and my mom told me to give him some time, I did and it turns out he never called again.
Back then, I could only trust him because he understood me when nobody else did...he was my only friend and I don't know if we'll be able to re-connect, because it's impossible.
"So, for how long you're planning to stay?" I asked.
"I'm moving back"
"Really?"
He nodded.
"That's great..."
"Andie, you say it like if you don't want me close" he said as he grabbed my hand.
"I'm just tired after the flight, Damon" I said as I pulled my hand away from him.
"Then I'll let you rest" he said as he stood up and walked towards the door. "Tell your mom, I'll be back to help her clean the garage"
"Okay" I said as he got out.
"You practically kicked him out" mom said she got in and sat next to me.
"I'm not in the mood, mom" I said as I stood up and walked towards my bedroom.
