A FEW DAYS LATER
I sighed as I took a seat opposite my therapist...I don't know what's going to happen here today but I'm doing this to save my relationship with Andrea.
"Good morning Kellin" Mr. Jones said.
"Morning"
"Well, this is practically our first and probably last live session, since you're on tour and you live in Florida. But you'll be taking your therapies through Skype"
I nodded.
"What about if we start from the beginning? How you met Andrea?"
"Well, I met Andrea months ago...she was introduced into my life as my sister and months later I found out she wasn't my sister at all. She's my little sister's sister..."
"Where's your little sister?"
"She died...2 months after she was born" I explained.
"You met her?"
I shook my head.
"And how did you found Andrea wasn't your sister?"
"She told me" I said.
"She always knew?"
I nodded.
"And what he was trying to get with this?"
"She said she couldn't believe I would have treated her like that and what will had happen if I had treated my sister the same way I treated her?"
"And what you felt when she told you that?"
"Destroyed"
"Why?"
"Because I could have destroyed a little girl's life"
"Did you apologize to Andrea?"
I nodded.
"And how were things between you and her?"
"We didn't talk for a long time and we met again, things got better, I fell in love with her, I asked her out, she said yes and since then we have a lot of trouble"
"And how those problems were build?"
"I'm the reason of those of problems"
"What's exactly going on, Kellin?" he asked.
I told him everything we're going through...I told him about the heartbreaks and how hard it is for me to trust my girlfriend and how I feel so unsecure. I told him about how this is affecting Andrea...and how I don't want to see her hurting.
"Well...Kellin you're not the problem in this relationship" he said.
"I'm not?"
"Look, you need to be opened with your feelings. Andrea wants you to be honest about your feelings...she loves you and she wants the best for both, but she doesn't needs to be under pressure. She told you she needs time and she does...she's just 17, she wants to graduate it, she wants to have a career and once she finishes with all that, she'll want to marry you, have kids. But, what's really important is that she wants to build that life next to you"
I smiled and nodded.
"All you need to do is trust her with your feelings..."
"I will"
"And when we talk again...I want you to tell me about your progress in your relationship?"
"Okay..."
"Remember she doesn't needs the pressure and all you need to do is love her, love her like if it's the last day you're going to see her"
I nodded, "I will"
"And try to get over what happened...yes, she's hurt and you're hurt too but it won't help in your relationship so avoid talking about it" he said.
~TIME LAPSE~
I had to thank Mr. Jones for all the advices he gave me. I made my way towards Bring Me The Horizon's bus, to meet my girl...I stepped into the bus and once she saw me she ran towards me.
"How was the session?" she asked.
"It was nice, babe"
"Are you okay?" she asked as she caressed my cheek.
I nodded.
"Baby, please tell me the truth"
"Guys, can you give us a sec?"
They nodded and made their way out the bus.
"What's wrong, my love?" she asked.
I grabbed her hands, "We need to start from the beginning"
"What you mean?"
"I want to start from the beginning, start from zero, leave everything that once hurt us behind"
She smiled, "I want to do that too, Kell...I love you and I don't want to bring the past back up. All I want is to be with you and be happy"
I smiled and hugged her, "I still need more sessions, but I promise things are going to change my love. I know I took the wrong decisions, I know you're hurt, I'm hurt too but we need to leave this behind...I know it's going to be hard, but we're in this together"
She nodded, "You're right, we're together...but please, let's not talk about what happened before. I don't feel comfortable talking about that, it bothers me, it makes me hurt"
"We need to talk about it, sweetheart...otherwise we won't get over it" I said as I started to wipe the tears that were rolling down her cheeks.
"I don't want to, it's been enough" she said as she stood up.
"Baby...I love you, I do with all my heart and I'll try to change. I know you deserve more than that, my love and I swear I'll try"
She just nodded.
"I was about to lose you Andrea and I don't want that...you know what I see in this 17-year-old? I see everything I never saw in other women. I see my mother"
She turned to look at me, "Your mother?"
I nodded, "I see this strong, talented, independent, beautiful, smart, kind, loving and passionate girl. This girl that I can't live with, this girl that doesn't understands why I love her so much, this girl who reminds me of the woman that brought me to earth, this girl that I'll give my life for, this girl for who I'm going to get over everything, this girl for who I'm able of going over the whole world just be with her. I love you Andrea, maybe a lot of people including you don't know why but I do"
She walked towards me and kissed me, "I love you too, Kellin"
"But I do more" I said as I kissed her forehead.
"I was being selfish, Kell--"
"No, my love...you weren't being selfish, you just wanted to let all that pain out and I understand"
"I'm glad things are going to change"
"They will...now, what about if we go out for a walk?"
She nodded as she stood up and went for her stuff.
"Ready?"
"I am"
Of course, I feel there's a great progress going on. All I need to do is follow Mr. Jones advices and everything will be alright...I do want to marry this girl, I want to be with her for the rest of my life but I need to show her I can keep my promises.
"I'm really nervous for tonight's performance" she said.
I smiled and grabbed her hand, "You know I'm going to be there, right?"
"I know...and it's not my first performance, but I'm dancing for my boyfriend's fans"
I chuckled, "Baby, I'm sure they're going to love you and you're going to impress them with your somersaults. Honey, you're an amazing dancer...when I first saw you dance, I was amazed"
"You were?"
I nodded, "Even though you couldn't see it"
"What about if we go for some ice cream?"
"You're always craving for sweets, right?" I asked.
She smiled, "Not always"
"Honey, you're always eating cupcakes, ice cream and any kind of candy but I had never seen you eat something sour"
"Because I don't like it...you should know me by now, Mr. Quinn"
I chuckled, "And I do, Miss Venturi"
Talking about Venturi, I hope Ray doesn't shows up anytime soon, because if he finds out Andrea is not living with us for now...he won't hesitate in taking her back to London.
I had to beg, so she could come with us on tour. He was sure going to place her with another band and it's been hard to win his trust though.
"You know why I didn't like Mayra?" she said.
"Why?"
"It wasn't just because I thought she wasn't the right girl for you. I got jealous when you started to date her"
"You were?"
"Yeah...and I knew that no matter how hard I tried, you were always going to believe her instead of me and I also was worried, worried she might hurt you"
"Well, she didn't...you know why? Because I never loved her, I was just trying to fill an empty space and she wasn't the right one"
"And what about me?"
"You're everything I ever wanted, maybe more" I said.
She smiled and kissed my cheek, "You're amazing, Kellin"
"You're just saying that just to make me feel better, right?"
She chuckled, "No, stupid...it's the truth. I had never met a guy who can care so much for a girl"
"Every single man that loves his girl with all his heart, cares for her"
"I know, but you're the first guy I know that loves his girl with all his heart" she said as a few tears went down her cheeks.
I stopped walking and faced her, "Sweetheart, what's wrong?"
"Nothing...I'm fine"
"No, honey...you're not" I said as I brought our foreheads together.
"Kellin, do you know why you're the first guy I dare to be with?"
I shook my head.
"It's because you're different...I used to be in ove with my best friend. We were always together, he was always there for me when I needed him. I thought it was real until he left. i thought he was going to keep in contact, but he never did...it broke my heart, it really did and suddenly out of the blue he appears in my house thinking he can get into life again, but what's done is done. Since then, I thought every guy was just like him...they just use you and now I find you and think differently"
I smiled and kissed her, "You just made my day, my love"
"I did? Talking about my ex crush makes your day?"
"Yeah, it does. It does, because I know those guys never had a chance with you and I do" I said as I took her hand and kept walking.
"Good point"
~TIME LAPSE~
We were waiting for Andrea to arrive, I know she's nervous for tonight and I know she needs all our support right now.
"What's taking her so much?" Justin asked.
"She's nervous, stupid"
"Nervous? A girl who has amazing skills in dancing? I doubt it" Jack said.
"She's nervous about what the fans are going to think about her"
"She shouldn't care about that" Nick said. "The fans should mind their business and be happy because you're happy next to her, because as far as I know you weren't happy with Mayra right?"
I shook my head, "I wasn't"
"And of course, you're happy with this girl" Gabe said.
I smiled, "I am"
"At least you forgot about that obsession with getting married with her" he said.
I shook my head, "I haven't...but I know she's not ready yet and I respect that"
"That's a great step, Kell" Justin said.
"I know it is"
"And what about her grandmother? Did you talk with her?"
I shook my head, "No matter how hard I try, that woman is never going to accept me"
"The whole family should if you're planning to go to another level" Nick said.
"I know, but I bet she's not even going to be alive for when that happens" I said.
"What?" a female voice said from behind.
We all turned to look at Andrea...did she heard what I said?
"What you just said Kellin?" she asked.
"Nothing, babe...I just--"
"Don't deny it...i heard every single word"
I sighed, "Honey, I-I"
She shook her head, "Don't say anything"
She just stood away from all of us. This time, I messed everything up...
~TIME LAPSE~
As we were getting offstage, Andrea didn't said a word...she didn't even comment anything about her first performance in front of the SWS Army.
"You should talk to her..." Gabe said.
I nodded as I walked towards her.
"What?" she asked as she looked at me.
"Honey, I'm sorry okay...it's been hard for me to socialize with your grandmother and I--"
"Yeah, it's been hard but I can't believe you wish she's dead for when we get married. I might had met that woman a few months ago, but she already means everything to me and I want her to be there for when you decide to ask me to be your wife. I want her to be there though everything and the simple fact that you say that she's probably going to be dead is tearing me apart..." she said as she walked away.
Oh, nice one Kellin!
"Dude, if you keep going like that...expect that girl to be in the arms of another men in the next 2 months" Jack said.
"Don't even dare to say that again"
"He's right, Kell" Gabe said.
How can I change what I said? Because she's never going to forgive me...
