Zoey's Story: A shugo chara story #1

Chapter 4

            ♢☆♢ Kairi's POV ♢☆♢

  I had just seen zoey almost die , but I'm just glad she's alive . Then she had told us to get back , and for amu to he ready when she can't hold back the monster . I saw some shock in her fingertips , what the heck? She runs to the X - monster , and puts her hands on it . Then , shock! She's shocking it . What!?! But that's impossible! Well , at least I thought it was impossible . She keeps shocking it , the X - monster screeches . Then she screams at amu to get ready , amu gets ready and does her thing . The eggs turn good , and fly back to they're owners . But zoey on the other hand , after it's gone . She turns back to her clothes . She's about to fall , I run to her and catch her in my arms before she hits the ground . She opens her eyes , and her eyes widen when she sees me .
" Kairi ... " she said faintly . She used most of her energy , so she's probably tired and weak . I stand up , and carry her . Everyone looks shocked . " I didn't know you two are dating . " Ikuto said as he smirked .
" Me either! " kukaki said as he laughed . Then zoey blushed , and so did I . Zoey quickly gets out of my arms , she crosses her arms and looks the other way . " We are not dating , besides I'm not wanting a boyfriend right now . " she said . Then she ran off the building , and character transformed with ruby again . " Hey guys I've got to go . I'll talk to you guys later , and I loved the gift basket! Love it! Bye! " she said as she flew off . Rima and amu flew off as well . Ikuto , kukaki and tadase walked up to me .
" She's really something . " kukaki said . " Who? " I asked . " Zoey . " tadase said . " She seems dangerous , and funny when she's upset or blushes . But I have to say amu is the only one for me . " Ikuto said . " I've never seen a girl with such power . " I said . " The only girl with such power is amu since she uses Open Heart to cleanse the X - eggs . But I've never seen a person able to shock things . " kukaki .
" Kairi , it seems you really care about her . Cause it looked like you were really worried when she had been hit . " tadase said . " Of course I was worried , she's a guardian! We're suppose to be worried about each other when one of us gets hurt . You guys were probably worried too! " I said as I blushed . " I was mostly worried about amu . " Ikuto said .
" Alright alley cat , I think it's time you go . " tadase said . " And who says I have to listen to you kiddy king? " Ikuto as he had a smug look on his face . And before I knew it , ikuto and tadase were fighting once more . Kukaki was laughing , he'll probably lose his head if he doesn't calm down . So I went down , and musashi came out . I'm now back into my regular clothes . So me and musashi start running  back to my sister's apartment . Well , musashi can't run , he just floats . So he follows me while I run .

                  * 5 minute later *

  It's been 5 minutes and now I'm at the apartment . When I make it in , I feel sweaty . " I'm home! " I said .
" I'm in the kitchen! " my sister said .
So I went into the kitchen , and I see yukari cooking . " What are we having? " I asked . " Stir fry . " she said . She looked at me , and I smiled .
" Why are you sweaty? " she asked .
" I ran here . " I said . " Go take a shower before dinner . " she said .
" Will do . " I said . Musashi went in my room , and I'm sure he went I'm his egg and went to sleep . So I went to the bathroom and took a shower .

            * A few minutes later *

   It's been a few minutes , I've taken my shower and changed into my night clothes . Then I went into the kitchen , yukari handed me my plate .
We sat at the table , and started eating . " I think what you did for zoey was a good thing . " she said .
" What thing? " I asked . " The gift basket , I think it was a nice thing that you did that . Cause zoey has been going through a lot , I think it was a nice thing to do . It shows her that she has friends who care about her , and that she's not alone . " she said . " Yeah . " I said . " What's wrong kairi? " yukari asked . " Nothing . " I said . So we continued eating , and then we finished . I helped clean up , and then went to my room .  When I walked in , I looked at musashi . And as I had guessed , he had went in his egg and went to sleep . * Yawn * Well , I guess I'm a bit tired too . Fighting that X - monster was tiring , and now I'm tired . So I lay down on my bed and go to sleep .

            ♡♤♡ Zoey's POV ♡♤♡

I was flying home , it felt great . Me and the guardians had just fought a whole small but still huge colonie of
X - eggs , that then turned into and X - monster . Kairi had saved me , and he had also held me in his arms . Shocking! I know , I can't belive it myself . I think it was just a hallucination , but it was real . Yeah , I know . I was blushing badly , and I felt a bit of embarrassed . Jeez , I blushed a lot . I don't know why , but it's really annoying me . So once I get home , ruby comes out of me , and I'm back in my clothes that I was wearing earlier . I walked in , and closed the door . " I'm home! " I said throughout the house . Uncle yuu came to where I was and hugged me . Huh? Then he pulled back and looked at me for an injuries , or to see if my injurie was injured anymore then it already is .
" Uncle yuu I'm fine , ruby put a barrier around me so I wouldn't get hurt . " I said . " Good . " he said . Then , he smiled . I walked to the kitchen , and got me a drink . Uncle yuu went to his room , and I followed him with curiosity . " Uncle yuu what are you doing? " I asked . " Just watching the news . " he said as he sat right in front of his TV listening to the news . The news is about us . "  There are 7 unidentified people on top of Easter company fighting a monster that gas a big red X on its head . The monster keeps saying Useless , and we don't know who the people are . But who ever they are , they seemed to have defeat the monster . And we owe them a great thank you ,  and we should thank them . Wait! We're getting something! Role the tape! " the news women said . So a tape was played , and it was zoomed onto . Wait! You can see us! Crap! You can see us!
"  It seems to be kids , we have to find out who they are . So keep an eye out for kids dressed in costumes . " the news women said once more . I was ticked . Costumes! Kids! We're all 14! Well except for ikuto , and kairi .

Author's note: Forgot to say that kairi is actually 13 , but since his birthday is coming up he is turning 14 . P . s: Everyone keeps they're chara's forever , it's gonna be a little different .

Were are not kids in costumes! We are guardians , well we're the guardians of Seiyo academy  . But we still help! And they don't even thank us! Well , they said they need to thank us . But they didn't say thank you , they said they need to thank us . Ugh! " This is bull! We are not kids in costumes! News people , you need to get your facts right! You freaking a - " I tried saying but uncle had covered my mouth . " Woah there , calm down . And watch your mouth , you almost cussed . " uncle said . He took his hand off , and I looked at him . " Well , I wouldn't do this if those dang news people would get they're facts straight! " I said . " Still doesn't mean you have to get all mad . " he said .
" They called us kids! They called us kids in costumes! That is bull right there! " I said . He turned of the TV , and went to the kitchen to start cooking . " What's for dinner? I asked .
" Something easy , and doesn't to long to make . " he said . I looked at the table , and notice that the gift basket wasn't there anymore . " Uncle yuu , where's the gift basket? " I asked .
" It's in your room . " he said . I ran to my room , and looked for it . But it was right in front of me , in my bed . I opened it , and saw what was inside . There's a bit of food , books , drawings  , clothes , stickers , cards , green X - clips and green apple shampoo . I opened the cards , and looked at them . They had also put they're numbers in like amu said , but kairi didn't put his number in his . Hmm , I wonder why .
