Chapter 6

( This is how zoey feels around kairi . )

         ♡♤♡ Zoey's POV ♡♤♡

  I wake up , feeling wetness on my forehead . I open my eyes , and see a wet rag on my forehead . Huh? I see I'm in my bed , and I feel way better then I felt yesterday . I get up , and go into the livingroom . I see uncle on the couch , he must of been worried about me . " Uncle yuu . " I said . He looked at me , and smiled . He got up and hugged me . " Zoey! I'm so glad your okay! I thought I lost you!" he said . " Well you didn't , I'm a fighter . I'm to going to be giving up so easily , so there's no need to worry . " I said .
He hugged me tighter , as if he thought he was gonna lose me . When he clearly isn't going to lose me .
" We should let everyone know your okay . " he said . " Alright . " I said .
So he let go , and let everyone know I'm okay . I went to my room , to check on my chara's . And I found them asleep in my drawer with my clothes . They were snuggled up to each other . Aw! It was cute , ans weird at the same time . It's weird because they're in my drawer with my clothes . I went to my bathroom , and took a shower .

            * A few minutes later *

After taking my shower , I put on a sweater and black yoga pants . Then I walk out of my room , and go to the kitchen and get me a drink . I haven't had anything to drink since yesterday  . So I'm really thirsty . So I get me a cup , and fill it with orange juice .
Then uncle yuu comes in , and smiles . " Everyone is glad your okay , and want to see you . " he said . " Well , I don't feel like seeing anyone right now . But I'm gonna go christmas shopping tommorow with amu and rima . " I said . Cause earlier I had called and asked them . " That reminds me , I have to go christmas shopping to . " he said .

       ☆♢☆ Kairi's POV ☆♢☆

I was laying on my bed , thinking of what happened in the past few days .
And my thoughts are filled zoey , I just hope she's okay . There hasn't been any news of her waking up since yet . She did black out yesterday , and I'm still waiting for the news of her waking up . But no news yet . Musashi still isn't talking with me , and I have yet to care anymore . I'm more worried about zoey , the last words she said we're " Open heart! " she almost sounded like amu . She might even be more powerful then amu , she might be even more powerful then the embryo . The embryo is a magical egg , whoever catches it can make a wish and it will come true . Rumor had it amu almost had it once , ans so did Ikuto . But this happened way before I was even transferred to Seiyo academy , and it was before amu and ikuto started dating . Then yukari came in . " Hey , I've got news about zoey . Yuu just called me , he said zoey is awake . But she doesn't want to see anyone right now , so we should wait . " she said . I sighed with relief , I'm so glad zoey is awake and is okay . But why wouldn't she want to see anyone right now? I mean seriously . Well , maybe I can see her tommorow without her avoiding me or brush me off when I try to talk to her . Yukari comes and sits on my bed with me .
" You must really like zoey don't you? " she asked . I blushed . " So what if I do? " I asked . " Well , I'm not against you kairi . Besides , she's a nice girl and I've become good friends with her . Plus she's gotten utua to smile more , the only time utua smiles is when she sees ikuto or when she gets to hang out with amu . Ans that's good , I'm glad your friends with her . " she said .
" She's your boyfriend's niece . " I said . " So . " she said . " So if you and
mr . nikaidou ever get married , me and zoey would be siblings and siblings can't date . " I said . " Well , you wouldn't be siblings . Well at least I don't think you wouldn't be siblings , and if you want to date her then just tell how you feel . " she said . " I'm afraid she'll say no , I'm just frustrated and confused right now . " I said .
" Don't be afraid , everything will be alright . Besides , who could say no to you? " she asked . " Amu . " I said .
" Well , she's dating someone . Ans you know not to confess to someone who is already dating someone . " she said .
" Now that I forgot . " I said . " Hoboy , what am I gonna do with you . " she said . " I don't know , but I think your the only other person that has talked to me . Musashi won't talk to me . " I said . " He won't? " she asked . " Yeah , he's mad at me for some reason . But I don't know what I did , but he must know something that involves zoey . Because she seems to be the center of attention lately . " I said . " Well , she's just isn't use to other people yet . Because yuu told me she didn't have any friends who back at her old school . She was friendless , she wasn't invited over for anything . She had a hard tike making friends . Plus she's lost so many people in her family , she only has yuu left . " she said . " Really? " I asked . " Yes , that's why she's a bit different . It's because she only trust certain people , when it comes to boys she doesn't know what to do . I was the same way when I was here age , I didn't know what to either around them . " she said . " Okay , when did mom get here? " I asked .
" I'm just saying , that when it comes to boys she freaks out . She just doesn't understand , and she's confused . " she said . " And she's powerful too . I saw it , she can heal mystery eggs like amu can . But except this mystery egg was different , it had X - egg energy surrounding it . " I said . " Really? " she asked . " Yes , it was just amazing and dangerous at the same time . Plus it was by itself , a mystery egg is never by itself . " I said . " Hmm , do you have a video to shoe me? " I asked . " Yes , tadase got it on video and sent it to me . " I said . So I grabbed my phone , ans showed her the video . " Holy crap! She is powerful! " she said . " Do you believe me now? " I asked . " Yes . " she said .
" But that can't stop you from telling her you love her . " she said . " Why does love have to be so complicated? " I asked . " It just is , love is complicated in different ways . " she said . " Oh just watch her reject me like amu did . " I said . Then she smacked the back of my head .
" Oww! What was that for? " I said .
" Amu only said no because she is dating someone already . But I'm sure zoey will not reject you , beside I think she likes you to its just she's confused . " she said . " Really just you watch . " I said . So yukari left my room , and gave me a carefree smile .
And I stayed in my room for the rest of the night , feeling confused and frustrated .

          ☆♢☆ Zoey's POV ☆♢☆

* Morning *

It's morning , and I'm already awake .
I'm at the store , I'm doing my christmas shopping . Amu and rima had to leave because ami wanted amu to come home , and rima's parents needed her . But they managed to get the presents , I'm still shopping though . But as I'm shopping , I see a coffee shop . I'm 14 , I think I'm old enough to have a little coffee . Well , it's getting cold outside and it's starting to get ready to snow . Maybe I should get a hot chocolate for me and uncle yuu . So I quickly get the rest or my gifts for everyone , and go to the coffee shop and get me and uncle yuu some hot chocolate with whipped cream and and caramel on top of the whipped cream .  Then I go home .

           * A few minutes later *

It's been a few minutes , and I'm home . When I walk in , I close the door and look around for uncle . He must be in his room , well I'll give it to him once I put the gifts up . So I go to my room , and put the gifts up . Then I take off my jacket , gloves and boots . Then I get the cups of hot chocolate , and head to uncle's room . Once I get there , I walk in and see that he's hard at work . Again! " Uncle yuu , this is christmas break . Your suppose to be relaxing , well at least try relaxing . " I said . " I can't! I have to work on next week's lesson! " he said . I walk over to him , and turn his computer chair around . He looks at me , and sees that I got drinks . " Here , it's hot chocolate . I got you one while I was shopping . " I said . He gladly took it , and drank some of it . " Thanks zoey . " he said .
" Your welcome . " I said .

             * A few hours later *

It's been a few hours , ans it's now bedtime . I had made wrapped everyone's gift , except for kairi's . I haven't even made him a gift yet , but I won't be seeing him . Cause I'm not going to the christmas party , as much as I want to I can't . Kairi will be there and I can't be near kairi , or else my heart will hurt . My heart had already been suffering , but I but on a smile and act like nothing is wrong . I have to keep my hurt feelings in and locked away . As much as I want to let all of my feelings out , I just can't! I put on a green nightgown ans get my phone . I plug in my earbuds and listen to
" Let it go " . " Let it go , let it go can't hold it back anymore . Let it go , let it go! Here I stand and here I'll stay! The cold never bothered me anyway! Turn my back and slam the door! " then I go to sleep .
