NatsuXReader: i'll protect you (AU)

A Brand New Start

Fairy Tail High, the place you have been waiting to attend to was looming over you and your friend. tonight was orientation night so all freshmen we permitted to attend to get all the papers turned in, their locker, ID card and other information that a new high school student would need. the first day was only a couple days away but that didn't stop you and your friend from touring the school finding your classes. It turns out that you have the same Art, PE and English classes.

"i didn't expect it to be this big" you said looking down at your schedule to see what your next class was, before looking back up at the number of the room you were passing.

"me neither" Levy responded her voice echoing in the empty hallway. " i bet we'll get use to it that it will seam smaller than it is"

you gave her a slight nod, "yeah i guess your right" looking back up you saw the number you had been searching for. Room 18 the art room, " okay so this is our art class but the only thing is its on the opposite side of campus from our first period class" you said giving your friend a worried look

"don't fret, i think we can make it on time, after all there is break"

"yeah i know but i still have my doubts"

"okay doubter, we gotta find our last class so we can go"

You gave her a small smile as the two of you continued to walk around the campus in search for room 47.

~Time skip~

there was faint buzzing sound, you attempted to ignore it you even tried having your pillow over top your head but the sound still made it through disrupting your sleep. in annoyance you tossed your pillow of your head and looked for the source of the nose. after several seconds you discovered that it was your alarm clock. it read 6:30, slamming your finger onto the snooze button it had crossed our mind that today was the first day of school and you had to be there early to meet up with Levy.

tossing the blankets aside you quickly got up and got dressed. finally satisfied with your outfit choice you made your way down stairs to make some breakfast before you headed off towards school. it took a while but you were leaving the house at a reasonable time to be there early enough to catch up with levy, who might be in the library even if you were late.

arriving at the school around 7:30 to your surprise she was standing at the front near the main office. a smile appeared on her face when she saw you. you gave her a smile and a small wave in return.

"so now that we are officially freshmen, what is the first thing you would like to do" your friend had said linking her arm with yours and guiding you towards the somewhat full campus. you gave her a small shrug, but as you were walking something has caught your. A frenzy of pink hair stuck out around his face, his brown eyes locking with your (e/c) ones.

you couldn't take your gaze away from him until you felt something pressing against you shoulders and a sharp pain on your cheeks. looking in front of you your friend stood with an serious expression which she hardly wore,

" hey you listening!"

"u-um no im sorry i was just...." you turn back to find that the pink headed male had begun walking in the opposite direction.

"what" your friends called from the side of you as she began leading you once more to your class.

"nothing" was all you could say

it took a bit longer then you thought due t the fact that there were a bunch more students pressing and squeezing past one another in a rush. but you and Levy had made to class on time. a wave of relief washed over you. and so this was the first day that you were distracted in class, the only thing on your mind was the that male who was looking at you and you began to wonder.
