it had been about a month and that's when you began to notice. when you walked down the hall or into class the girls head bent low and you heard whispers, sometimes you would catch them giving you dirty looks.
" whoa... what you do now?" Levy said with a teasing tone as she leaned against the row lockers.
as you were putting books away and grabbing some before shoving them into your bag you gave her a small glance
"i swear i didn't do anything, and plus you know me i wouldn't do anything bad"
"yeah but that doesn't explain this" her hands swept in a large gesture towards the hall.
turning to respond, the bell rang for first period you gave your friend a small smile and a hug before you briskly walked towards your English class.
you knew what would happen when you entered your and sat at your seat but what was new was the paper ball thrown at you from the back. for the rest of class you tried to ignore it and focus.
The bell rang signaling the end of class, now you were on your way towards the spot you and your friends sat at lunch and break, but when you were walking under a balcony you heard a voice call out above you. with a curious look, glancing up you saw three of the girls that had fallowed Natsu around.
" hey Bitch" the brown haired called "this is what you get for touchings things that aren't yours"
worry began to creep into you as you noticed what they were holding, buckets of water. they smiled and gave a laugh before tipping over the blue buckets. you closed your eyes expecting the worse but nothing happened and the only thing that you did feel was a hard shove.
landing in the nearby grass you opened your eyes, dazed you were able to make out what now stood in your place.
Natsu, now drenched in water and his pink hair sticking to his head gave you a soft look, before you heard one of the other girls yell
"OH SHIT.... we hit Natsu!" she called
the other two gasped before abandoning the buckets. you watched as they ran into the second floor of the school but what you hadn't noticed was that Natsu was now standing in front of you hand out stretched.
giving him a wary smile you took it only to have him pull you closer to him. you felt wet clothing under you palms, looking up you met Natsu's gaze with you (e/c) ones
"t-thank you" you began to stutter
Natsu gave you a small smile in return before he leaned down and placed a light kiss on your lips. this caused you blush to deepen and the next thing you knew was that he was whispering in your ear.
"don't worry" he bean to say in a soft tone " ill always be here to protect you"
letting out a sigh you rested your head against his now wet uniform and listened to the sound of his heart beat. and soon your fell into beat along with it.

(sorry for the short chapter ill try and make them longer ) i freaking love Natsu he is my favorite character in the show so writing this is kinda fun for me..:D. okay so i might not be posting for bit since finals are coming up but ill try and squeeze in a chapter if i can :D. anyways i thought i just let you know and please let me know in the comments below and don't forget to vote, it helps me out a lot
