Walking in behind Gray you saw that there were more people in Natsu's room then there has been in yours. Fear stricken you watched as people moved around him as well as in and out of the room, at one point you caught a glimpse and the tears started to roll....Natsu had deep cuts on his arms and face, blood ran from a gash on his forehead.
'i-im i to late' you thought as you stepped back not wanting to see any more. The last thing you saw before leaving the room was Gray's slumped body and tears falling...
It had been your anniversary and Natsu had appeared with a bouquet of (f/flowers), and a smile. After handing you the flowers he embraced you into a kiss, his lips placed lightly on yours.
After what had happened he grabbed your hand and intertwined it with his,leaning down he whispered
"can you do me a favor and close your eyes...i have something special to show you,but it a surprise.
you did what he asked, and after what felt like you walked for a mile Natsu stopped and glanced at you.
"okay you can open them now"
The moment you opened them you saw that he had lead you down to the beach, the waves crashing softly on the sand and a blanket placed in the sand with a basket in the middle and candles. You smiled and looked at him.
"happy anniversary" he said and placed a small kiss on you cheeks and lead you to the blanket. As you sat down Natsu took a seat across from you.
He opened the basket to pull out several dishes and deserts, two plates, and glasses. You watched as he set up everything and once he was finished he handed you your plate.
After a while when the two of you were finished you cleaned everything up and blew out the candle,leaving you guys in the glow of the sunset. The colors illuminating of the water and across the sky.
"its so beautiful" you said as you rested your head on his chest which rose with deep breaths.
"yeah but not as beautiful as you"
smiling, your eyes began to grow heavy with sleep and before you knew it the two of you were asleep, you wrapped in his grasp as he held on arm behind his head.The sunset slipping behind the waves allowing the stars to come out and shine brightly.
At the sound of your name you looked up, but no one noticed. Thinking that you had imagined it the voiced called out again this time more close. Standing up you poked your head out of the door and looked around. The moment you caught a glimpse of spiky pink hair, you ran towards him tears streaming down your face.
"(Y/N)" Natsu called before turning around and meeting your gaze, a smile forming on his face as he ran towards you and swept you up. Hugging him tight you heard him whisper.
" I thought i lost you"
"me too"
the tears still streaming and falling, you felt him place you back down. Placing his hands on your cheeks he pulled it close and rested his head on yours, tears falling down his cheeks as well.
"dont worry (Y/N), ill never leave you...and dont ever forget that"
