"Pristine, you don't get it. They're the biggest bitches EVER. I'm not gonna spend my New Year's with all of them in a damn gym!" I whined, staring at her.
For some reason, our principal thought it would be fun if all the kids from our high school had a New Year's party in the school gym.
I knew that letters about it were getting mailed out, so Malcolm and I ran to our houses after school let out so we could grab the letters before our families got them.
I failed miserably.
I was hoping he had more luck than I did.
"You're going, Jayde. It sounds like fun! Besides, if Malcolm goes, you'll be with him for the whole night. You'll have someone to hang out with," Pristine said, ruffling my now blue hair.
"You and Ryan just want the house to yourselves," I said, crossing my arms.
My suspicion was confirmed by the look on her face.
"I better not have another niece or nephew after that!" I said, walking down the hallway to my room."So you mean all you had to do was give Reese ONE DOLLAR and he wouldn't have given the letter to Lois?!" I yelled.
Mal and I were walking to the school at eight at night on New Year's Eve and I was slightly pissed at him.
"I kinda wanted that dollar, Jaded. It was important to me."
"More important than your sanity?!" I cried.
Malcolm looked at me and smiled. "You're cute when you're mad," He said.
I glared at him while trying not to start blushing.
"Shut up," I muttered, grabbing his hand.
He laughed and kissed my forehead.
We walked up to the door of the school just as Stevie Kenarban and his mom walked up. "Okay, you have your air purifier, your cookies, your backup cookies if somebody takes the original cookies, your hypoallergenic pajamas--"
Malcolm cut off Kitty's rambling with a smile.
"We'll take good care of him, Mrs. Kenarban. Don't worry," He said, flashing his gorgeous smile.
'Oh, come on, brain, don't start obsessing over him now,' I thought, mentally punching myself.
"Oh, thank you, honey. Bye, Stevie baby! Hello, Jayde!" Kitty waved, finally leaving.
"How does she know my name?" I asked the two boys.
"Because whenever your boyfriend comes over to my house, he doesn't shut up about you," Stevie said, glaring at Malcolm as he pushed him to the gym.
"Aw, really?" I said, smiling.
Now it was Malcolm's turn to try and hide the fact that he was blushing majorly.
"Thanks a lot, Stevie," He mumbled. We laughed and headed into hell. Oh, sorry, I mean the gym.A/N: Hey guys! This was getting long so I'm making it into two parts. I'll update the rest tonight! Now off to go to do an unnecessarily complicated assignment -_-
