"What?" I asked, looking up at Reese.
He blushed a little and I smiled.
"Stop it, tomato. What'd you say?" I asked.
"You're perfect, Jayde. And Nikki's a bitch. And a slight ho. Okay, a complete ho. Malcolm's a dumbass, and I'm so sorry I'm related to him right now. Actually, I'm always sorry I'm related to him, but--"
I cut off Reese by kissing him hard. And holy shit, there were sparks. Like, sparklers on fourth of july sparks. And damn, it felt good.
He put his hands on my hips as I felt him smile. I tangled my hands in his hair and smiled as he did.
The bell rang and we broke apart, breathing heavily.
"Damn," Reese said, looking down at me.
"Damn," I agreed.
"Damn," I heard a voice behind me say.
Reese and I spun around and saw Stevie sitting behind us.
"I just saw Nikki and Malcolm helping each other to the nurse's office and figured Jayde couldn't be too far. But seeing Jayde and Reese having a pretty intense moment was--"
"Unexpected," We all said simultaneously.
"That's putting it mildly," I said, looking at Reese.
