Grim- 9

Chapter 9

-Sofiel’s POV-

I was thrashing and screaming all last night, as the nurse pulled my wings out of my back to fix my spine, turns out I had an alter, caused by stress. It was small because it just started but none the less I still had a hole in my stomach.  The nurse gave me some pills to make it go away, she told me my wings will be better by tomorrow and my stomach will be better in a week.

“Hello.” I turned to my other side so I could see who was talking, my back started to hurt but not as much as last night. Danny came and sat on the chair next to me, his eyes where all black expect a few dots of Orange and Yellow. I really needed to figure out what that meant. “Your eyes and kind of green Sofiel.” He handed me a mirror and indeed they where, they looked like hit but the small dots where green. Now I REALLY wanted to know what all this went.

“What time is it?” I asked.

“Noon.” Danny answered.

“Shouldn’t you be at school.”

“Uh, school was canceled due to uh… no sleep.” He said looking down at his lap.
“What do you mean?”

“You’re a Death Angel, and a Reaper. So your screams will cause anyone near you to be sick. And uh, well after your last screams everyone fainted. Except me.”

“Why not you?”

“I don’t really know.”

“I feel terrible. Everyone is going to hate me.” I whimpered.

“No, last night they didn’t care the where sick and in pain-”

“THEY WHERE IN PAIN TOO!?” I yelled.

“Shh! SH! Please Shh! Let me finish, they didn’t care about any of that. They are all worried about you.”

“Danny.”

“Yes?”

“I really wanted some blue pasta.” He smiled and set he head next to my stomach he sighed.

“I’ll have Vera get you some.” The nurse said. “Danny, you can have the bed next to here, you look tired from all her screaming.” Danny jumped up and ran to the other bed and laid down, he set his head on the pillow and got on his side facing me. He smiled and I smiled back, he closed his eyes and almost instantly fell asleep. So I followed and fell asleep as well, ignoring the beat of my heart.

A week had past and we were on our Christmas break, I could fully walk now without it hurting and the hole in my stomach was filled and healed. Danny was with me 24/7, he told me that it was his job, but Nathan had told me Danny thinks I’m cute. Today Danny and I are going to go to the Soul River and ice skate. Good thing about winter is all the souls go to the water fountain to see their loved ones on earth. So no one was under you when you skated.

When we got down to the river I slipped my ice skates on that Grim had got me for Christmas even though it was a week away, he still gave me presents everyday un till Christmas this break.  I jumped on to the pound and almost fell but Danny grabbed me.

“Will I always be catching you like this?” He asked.

“Maybe.” I giggled and blushed looking down. He grabbed my hands and we started to skate around, over the hour or so of skating I got angry with myself and I had fallen way to many times for my liking, so we agreed we could just go watch a movie in one of our rooms. We made it upstairs and I changed into some fuzzy pajama bottom the Saph and I got together, she got me blue and I got her pink, I grabbed the matching snuggy and the dragon pillow pet. Over the last week or so Saph and I became best friends, so when I told her I would be watching a movie she giggled and told me to have. I winked and she laughed.

“Not too much fun!” She laughed.

“Ha-ha very funny!”

“Nathan and I will come in, in about an hour. Or so.” She smiled and got back to her book ignoring that Nathan was playing with her hair and laughing along with me.

“Alright, by guys.” I made my way down the hall and walked into Danny’s room, Travis and Cameron and Simon where all laying on the couch and I think Travis was asleep. Simon was Cameron’s Cousin, so we all became really good friends over the week.

I jumped over the couch and landed on Danny’s lap making him grunt and gasp for air.

“What!? AM I that big?” I asked faking being hurt. I got up and went over to Cameron and Simon and sat in-between them. I kissed both their cheeks and ignored Danny. “Hi guys.” I said they both laughed and went along with it.

“Hey baby” Cameron said.

“What’s up?” Simon asked.

“Nothing much, just not talking to that feller over that way.” I said pointing to Danny.

“ALRIGHT! That enough!’ Danny said, he walked over to us and picked me up throwing me over his shoulder, I giggled and he walked around the room, and finally he put me down. But we were no longer in his room, we were in his closet. It was a big closet like mine, but what where we doing here. I looked at him with confusion. “I have been waiting to do this forever.” He brushed my hair out of my face and lifted his chin down, I smiled knowing fully well he was about to kiss me. I leaded in and so did he, I could feel his breath on my face and I giggled making him chuckle. I was burning inside to kiss him and I couldn’t wait any longer, so I wrapped my arms around his neck and pushed my lips to his. Sending a wave of shock threw my body, but it felt good. A wave of happiness. He held me close to him by holding the small of my back and not letting go. I ran my hands in his hair and I could feel him smile and he asked for entrance and I let him in. Letting our tongues dance together. It was amazing until of course Cameron went and opened the closet door making us pull away.

“NOW ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME!” He yelled making me blush and look at the floor. Danny grumbled to him and closed the closet door ignoring the boys, he pulled me back to him and we began where we left off. Giggling I looked up at him, he held me tight to him and he smiled down at me. I could have stayed like this forever, but something else called my attention. I pressed my lips to his and he smiled entering without asking. Letting our tongues dance freely like just before. This time it wasn’t anyone to interrupt us to stop this kiss but our self’s. We walked out and Saph was smiling at me and I stopped waking and blushed, looking down at my feet.

“What? Embarrassed?” Danny asked.

“Well yeah kind of.” I giggled. Danny grind and grabbed hold of me again planting his lips on mine but only for a second and then he pulled away and picked me up bridal style making me fall into a fit of giggles. He sat us down on the couch to watch the movie with everyone else. But really, we didn’t watch the movie, just each other’s eyes.
