10: Two Truths and All Lies
"Welcome to McDonald's! May I take your order?" asked the sales girl, whatever you call her.
"Can I have a happy meal please?" I asked her.
"Sure, ma'am," she replied, giving me a look and emphasizing the word 'ma'am.'
So just because you're 18, you can't order a happy meal? Jesus! And don't judge me. But before you get confused, I'm at McDonald's to meet Savannah like, and I quote, 'old times.' Yes, its the place where we usually meet. It's not that fancy which makes me happy and there's not much attention too so its the perfect place.
Savannah and I used to meet here once in a while. It was where we usually meet when we have problems especially girl problems or we really just want to talk. It was also where we always meet when she moved away. If you didn't or don't know, Savannah moved away just after she turned 18. She told us she was gonna go to uni/college. I still don't think that's the real reason why.
We didn't hear from her for a long time when she moved away. After 6 months or so, she finally called mum and the whole family to tell us she quit college. We still don't know the reason for that either, as you can tell our family grew apart from her. Dylan had some friends in the modeling business and he told them about her. We are actually the reason she became a model and basically what and where she is now.
I looked up to see the salesgirl was back with my food, "Here's your happy meal its £2.19." I took my purse out, handed her the money, and took the food muttering a thanks.
I took a seat in a secluded area and started devouring the food. Speaking of food, the dinner actually went well. Everything was on the table so basically the whole family aka my family plus Eliz, the Malik's, and the boys knows everything. Well actually the family don't know about me meeting up with Savannah except the boys and Eliz. Which explains Niall with mustache and glasses approaching my table.
"Hi Nialler!" I greeted him cheerfully, eating my fries.
"Hi Sadie," he replied taking the seat across from me. "Did you get me anything?" he asked, noticing my food.
"Uhm no?" I answered unsure.
"What? Why?" he whined.
"You're a millionaire and you're asking me to buy you food?" I asked him, raising an eyebrow.
"You have a point," he muttered, putting his thumb and index finger on his chin in a thinking way. He's too cute.
I sighed and pushed the fries in the middle for us to share. Just then the whole 'gang' came and gathered around the table. You see, after telling them all about meeting with Savannah, I got lectured by the boys and Eliz about danger and that stuff. I think they're being over dramatic really. I mean I'm not gonna wrestle her or anything.
"Guys I told you to stay in your place," I said to them. They ignored me and continued to eat the fries, "Hey leave me some!" They continued to ignore me. "Oh my god you guys are millionaires, almost billionaires can you buy your own food please?" I asked them.
"I'm not," Eliz muttered.
I sighed and took my drink. My hand was greeted with another one. I looked up to see Zayn, "You too?" I sighed.
"Sorry baby," he said with his sexy accent. Damn. He then gave me that huge adorable snow melting smile of his. A sigh escaped my lips and soon he was drinking it. So much for food. I looked at the time and it was already 5:50. Where the hell is she?
