13: Accident {Zayn}

'Sorry to inform you sir but you're girlfriend has been on an accident'

Those words keeps ringing through my head as I drive to the hospital where they were gonna take her. She's been on accident, she's been on a fucking accident. I clench my hand into a fist, if I haven't left her, oh god. If only I went with her, goddamit! I let out a few curse words before snapping out of it. Now is not the time to blame, she needs me.

I speeded up and immediately arrived at the hospital 5 minutes later, rushing through the front desk. I found a very young looking girl in a scrub suit.

"I'm here for Sadie Thompson? She's been on a car accident? Where is she?" I said to her.

"Please calm down Sir, she's being taken care right at this moment," she responded so calmly.

"I said, where is she?" I said loudly, almost everyone in the room turn their eyes on me.

She swallowed and said, "She's currently at the ER Sir, but you can't be in...."

"Where's the ER?"  I asked her, calmly at this time but with an urgency in the tone.

"You can't be in there Sir," she replied.

"Look," I looked at her name tag, "Daisy," I immediately looked at her in the eyes and said, " I understand that I can't be there but the person we're talking about here is my girlfriend, she's everything to me and she needs me right now."

"Oh...okay," she stammered, "I'll show you were the ER is," she said as she immediately moved in front of me, walking away from the front desk. I followed behind her and after a couple more seconds, she pointed at a door and announced, "This is the ER where she's in."

I took hold of the knob ready to go in but at the last minute, my mind was conflicting. Should I go in or should I just wait? I decided to go with the latter.

I looked up to see Daisy looking at me, "Thank you, do you think she's alright?"

"Your welcome, Sir. I could check on her if you want," she suggested.

"Okay," I said to her.

"We have a waiting area, I'll show you," she said.

Once again, I followed Daisy and moments later I was surrounded with everyone meaning the boys , Eliz, of course Sadie's mum, Sandra and her brother, Dylan and surprisingly, my own mum.

"Zayn oh my baby, come here," said Mum, reaching in for a hug. I didn't hesitate and put my arms around her. "She's gonna be okay baby, she's a tough girl."

"I know," I responded, quietly.

I talked with the boys and all of them, apparently they were all informed by Sadie's mum. We were all sitting on the waiting room. Daisy came back and told us that the doctors are still trying to help her. I crackled my knuckles, nervously different scenarious running through my head. The boys notice this eyeing me.

"I'm gonna go get some air," I announced. They all muttered okay and yeses. I hurriedly walked outside of the hospital. Once outside, I grabbed my ciggarettes and lit them on fire. What can I do, I smoke when I'm nervous.

I finished the first cigarette and was now about to lit the next one when Sandra appears out of nowhere. "Hello Zayn," she greeted.

"Erm hello," I replied, putting the cigar back where it came from.

"I need to talk to you Zayn," she said, sighing. "It's all my fault," she continued.

"What?" I asked her confused. If it was anyone's fault, it was mine.
