1: New Beginnings {Sadie}

*A month later*

It was my first day in college. I was walking in the campus. Glancing around, I couldn't help but notice my fellow students also doing the same thing.

It's been a month since my sudden rush of coming to America and I'm finally here. I've been settled into my new dorm room. Since I'm still a freshman, I have to live in the dorms with a roommate. I still haven't meet my new roommate, she's coming next week and surprisingly she's from somewhere in Europe as well. That is according to the very sad looking lady in the office. I wonder what's wrong with her and I wonder what's my roommate gonna be like.

Any who, I've pretty much been adjusting with the whole new home, new place thing the past month. The whole school is amazing even though it's in a very remote place. I chose this location on purpose in case you know...never mind. I will not go there, past is past.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice..something..well someone bumped into me. I dropped the schedule that was in my hand along with my purse and luckily, the purse was open, dropping everything.

"Great," I muttered under my breathe. The person and I both crouched down to pick up my things. He/She handed me my schedule, our eyes meeting and oh my Jesus. It was a he and he was one gorgeous guy.

He have deep captivating blue eyes that matches his light sandy brown hair. He was a little bit taller than my 5'8 so he must be 6' something. He's body is built and well-defined. As a matter of fact, he looks like a typical Abercrombie & Fitch model. He was wearing a simple blue shirt that displays his body type real well, I must say and blue jeans that are slightly ripped, completing his bad boy look. My throat closed up just by looking at him. I was speechless and I was staring at him like an idiot.

My reverie sunddely banished when he said, "Look where your going next time," smirking. Douche.

"Excuse me? You were the one who bumped into me," I said, angrily.

"Whatever," he shrugged and continued to walk.

And here I thought college is gonna be different, but this is exactly like high school all over again. I stood there looking at the douche's back. Sighing, I continued to walk and then it hit me. Where the hell is my schedule? The douche got it. What a wonderful day this day is turning out to be, I thought as I made my way to the admission office to get a copy of my schedule again.

20 minutes later, I was sweating and panting like crazy as I finally found my first class of the day. I glance at my clock as I begin to enter the room, thank goodness I'm not late. According to the lady who was talking to us in our orientation, if we were late, the professors won't let us come in. That would be very unfortunate since it's my first day and all.

As I entered the classroom, I noticed all the people in the room, man there are a lot of people in here and they were all staring at me. I immediately scan the room for a place to seat, ignoring the stares. There was a blonde with 2 brunettes smirking at me in the back of the class. There were 4 guys also in the back of the class, smirking at me as well and then there's other people seating by themselves spread around the room. I finally decided to take a spot next to the black-haired girl who was sitting in the second row. She was deep in her book. I couldn't see her face, but I really didn't care.

"They're staring at your shirt," she said, casting a swift glance at me.

"W..What?" I asked as I looked down at my shirt.

My black bra was visible, like really visible, great just great. Suddenly I remembered what I was wearing. I was wearing a grayish blue very thin long sleeve blouse with my leather leggings and some heels. I must have sweat a lot.

"Here," she said, tossing a blue school jacket with some school. I took it and muttered a thanks. "You're welcome! You know there just jealous because you have a hot bod," she said, finally putting her book down. I noticed the cover and smiled.

"Tiger's Curse I love that book," I said still smiling. She smiled a little. "I'm Sadie," I introduced myself.

"I'm Isa (E-sa) short for Isabella, it's kind of mouthful. Hey you have an accent," she said.

"British yeah," I muttered. Everyone I meet notice that.

"That is so cool! I've always love British Accent, it's so cool. Of course, it's partially because of this boyband I really love, you know One Direction?" she asked. My smile dropped, hearing that. My new motto: 'Past is past.'

She noticed it and said, "Oh I'm gonna shut up now." She got back to her book.

"I just remembered something...stupid," I said smiling at her a little bit.

"Oh okay so you're British?" she asked, smiling once more.

"No not really..." I explained it to her and we talked for awhile before our professor came and told us all to shut up. They say first impression is very hard to erase, so we all shut up. Our professor  introduced himself as Professor Gallagher. He looks like in his 38-40ish and he is sort of hot, if you like older dudes and your into teacher-student relationship.

Professor Gallagher started the lesson and I was really into it even though that sounds kinda nerdy. In the middle of the lesson, there was a loud banging on the door like really really loud. All the other students who were either asleep or talking or whatever they were doing, shut up. Our professor muttered, "Uh I see," walking towards the door. The loud banging continue.

"Settle down, settle down," Professor Gallagher said, loudly. He opened the door, revealing douche bag this morning. I sighed, and angry sigh while the other girls looked at douche dreamily, bleah.

"Glad you could join us Mr.?" our professor trailed, raising one of his eyebrows.

"Ryder," douche grumbled walking in.

"Well Mr. Ryder, as you know this isn't high school, this is the only time you will be allowed to interrupt my class and come in the middle of the lesson. Let this be a lesson to all of you," he continued, "If you arrive in my classroom late, you can go home or go back wherever the hell you came from, I don't care, as I was saying..." Professor Gallagher continued his lesson.

'Ryder' muttered a, "Whatever," taking a seat in the back of the class. 'Whatever' must be his phrase of the day or something. He didn't even notice me, that...that jerk bag. Not that I care, of course why would I care uhm duh...well...never mind. I focused back on the lesson and ignore Ryder the whole time.

The day went by fast, also because of the fact that I only had two class. Much to my dismay, Ryder was both in my classes. It makes me utterly mad and guess what he did in our second class together? Yeah, ignore me again. He could have just say a simple 'hi' or 'I'm sorry', douche much? Isa was also in both of my classes and again, much to my dismay, she have another class to go to, so I had  to spend the rest of the day alone. She's really cool though. I've learn that she's half-Filipino, she likes to read, she likes the color red, and all other stuff. I can't help but compare her to...her.

Anyways, I really am starting to like this new life of mine. 'Past is past,' I said to myself, smiling.
