Chapter Nine

~ Anna ~

Anna woke up feeling like a waste of space. She checked the time. 6:30. She quietly yawned before making her way to the bathroom. She took a quick shower and brushed her teeth before walking out. "Morning" Rachel greeted as she yawned.

"Morning." Anna replied. Rachel went to the washroom as Anna got dressed. She wore a light grey sweater that has white poke a dots on it with mint green skinny jeans and back all star converse. Her hair was in a low ponytail. As she graded her hot pink backpack, Rachel stepped out of the bathroom filled dressed. Rachel wore a dark blue button up shirt with lose selves that stop at the elbow and light blue skinny jeans with beige knee high boots and a beige beanie. She always was fast at getting ready.

"Ready?" Rachel asked as she picked up her black Jansport backpack.

Anna nodded before walking out her bedroom door with Rachel following behind her. They entered the kitchen and found Anna's father, Adam Grant, on the phone sounding very angry. "You can't come back!" he yelled bringing curious looks upon Anna and Rachel's faces. "She can't find out this way!" he yelled once again. Once he looked up at them, he quickly said, "I'll call you back." and hung up the phone. "Good Morning Ladies!" he greeted acting like nothing happened two seconds ago.

"Morning." Rachel and Anna both mumbled in union.

"Who was on the phone with you?" Anna asked.

"Better eat your breakfast and get going," Adam replied ignoring Anna's question. "You don't wanna be late for school."

Rachel and Anna grabbed an apple before walking out the door. "Bye Dad." Anna muttered before closing the door.

As they walked to school, Anna explained to Rachel what happened last night. "That asshole!" Rachel exclaimed.

"Sh. Keep your voice down and don't swear!" Anna warned but her best friend ignored.

"Why would he do such a thing? Louis and I were so sure he liked you!" she continued.

"It doesn't matter now, okay?" Anna asked. "Just drop it."

Instead of answering Anna, Rachel yelled, "Louis!". She ran to him and gave him a hug before kissing him.

"Ugh! Get a room." Anna teased as she walked up to them.

They pulled away and smiled at her. "Hi! I'm Louis!" Louis smiled as he stuck out his hand for Anna to shake.

"I'm Anna." she returned the smile and shook his hand.

"We're going to class. Are you coming with us?" Rachel asked Anna.  

"I just need to get something from my locker." she replied. "I'll meet you there."

Louis and Rachel headed to class as Anna made her way to her locker. Before she can even touch it, she felt familiar hands turn her by her shoulders and push her back against her locker. She looked up to find Zayn and his stupid friends laughing and teasing her. As the stinking pain shot up and down her back, Liam walked down the hall with the slut that was grinding him last night. He had his arm around her shoulder. She felt a ping of jealously as he walked closer and closer towards her.

Before Anna's mind can protest, she leaned in and kissed Zayn. Surprisingly, he answered immediately. Soon Zayn was on the ground with Liam on top of him as he punching his face after ever swear word he says.

What have I done? Anna thought.
