Teresa's POV

"Don't do it or he dies!"

Tom turned around to look at me along with the ret of the group. His face showed sadness, an expression that I knew all too well.

"Do it Brenda!" He yelled still looking at me.
"Don't do it Brenda." I said pointing the spear directly under Toms chin, just centimeters from his neck. "I'm not playing around." I said firmly.

This was a situation I didn't see myself being in, ever. I knew that doing this would jeopardize any chance I had to earn his forgiveness but I'm doing it to save him he just doesn't know it yet.

"Thomas I-I can't she'll kill you." Brenda told him.
"Just do it please it the only way." He pleaded.

I could have sworn if saw a tear fall down her face as I saw her debating with herself on what her decision was going to be. She didn't have to worry about in gone because Minho made it for her. He reached over and pulled a small gun out of her pants.

"Alright enough this ends now! Let him go Teresa!" He yelled pointing the gun to me. I felt myself get stiff as I saw him walk a couple step closer.

"The second you pull that trigger Thomas dies Minho. You shoot me and he will die, so I suggest you put the gun down."

His eyes were filled with so much rage that it was so hard to stay in character. I had to change his mind fast. I pulled out my walkie talkie hoping that my plan would work.

"If you don't put the gun down Minho, I'll have every WCKD agent on your backs quicker than you think. So think about it are you willing to risk everyone's life here and in the Red Arm?"

"Teresa I won't ask again." He said walking closer.
"Neither will I. I'm not scared Minho you and I both know that I deserve it. So go ahead shoot me it's too late for me now. To late to earn forgiveness." I said hoping that he wouldn't pull the trigger.

"Put the gun down Minho." Tom said calmly.
"Wh-what!?" Minho asked in shock.
"Give her the gun. It's not worth it."
"Are you crazy? She deserves a bullet between her eyes!"
"Minho!" Tom snapped and turned his head slightly. "You guys aren't worth it, no one here or in the Red Arm is, so just please give her the gun."

Minho groaned in frustration and tossed the gun to my feet.
"The detonator too." I said to Brenda.
"You know it's not too late for you Teresa. All you have to do is let us go."  Thomas said almost in a whisper. "Prove to me that you still care about us and everyone."

I looked down because I knew that if I looked at him I would run into his arms and ask for forgiveness, but they were watching. Counselor Paige probably had every camera on me right now. That's probably why no agents have been sent over. I also knew that Jo or Kristina's life was in danger and I didn't want to have more innocent blood in my hands. The closer I had Thomas to me the better chance I had at helping him.

"I'm sorry Tom." I sniffled as I felt tears  filling up my eyes. "As much as I want too I can't."

Suddenly I heard a bang coming from behind me. Then I heard it again and again. The door soon busted open revealing, Kristina with her gun.

"Alright weapons on the ground and hands in the air everyone!" She ordered and everyone listened.

I felt a sigh of relief now that Kristina was here I could let Thomas go. I turned to her and pointed the spear away from Tom.

"We have to let them go." I whispered so only she could hear.

Kristina seemed to have winced at my words.
"I was afraid you were going to say that." She told me as she carefully revealed, away from the cameras a bomb attached to her clothing. "I heard them say it was for insurance incase you let Thomas go."

I bit my lips in frustration, everything I thought I had under control I didn't. I could let everyone go but not Tom.

"I'm sorry Tom." I said under my breath before hitting him in the face with my spear. He fell to the ground on his knees holding his face in his hand.

I heard everyone around us yelling at me and trying to move closer but Kristina shot her gun a couple of times causing them to stop.

"You are coming with us." I told him sternly as my heart started breaking.
"No way!" Minho yelled pulling him back. "You aren't taking him anywhere."

I ignored Minho and stared at Tom. I stared at him intently. Make it believable, make it believable.

"I'm not playing games here. I'm going to start counting and every time I reach 5, Jo will shoot you one by one. She will do it until Thomas is the only one left then we will take him. It's up to you."

"One!" I shouted, Kristina pointed we gun to Newt.

Thomas didn't even think twice and started pulling away from everyone. Despite their attempts on holding him back Thomas walked up to me.

"Fine." He said staring at me. "Take me."
"But I only reached one." I told him.
"Yeah well I guess I'm brave like that."

Make it believable. When he got close to me I used the spear once again to hit him in the face, this time it was harder than last time.

He fell to the ground again and this time he spit out blood.

"Teresa." Kristina called me over. "We have to take him, Counselor Paige is leaving soon and we have a team waiting for us." She whispered.

I nodded my head and I walked to him. I took of my jacket and pulled him up by the collar. Then I wrapped my jacket around his eyes to blindfold him.

"What are you doing that for?" Minho asked."The facility is here it's not like he's gonna-"
"Shut up!" I yelled at him.

"We are taking him." I told everyone. "If anyone follows, I'll hit him again and Jo will start shooting you. She won't even aim she will just let the bullets fly."

I said picking Tom up from the ground.
"You catch the flare already Teresa?" Minho asked me. "Your minds obviously gone."

I hit Tom once again with my spear just to shut everyone up. He fell down to the ground once again but he didn't move.

"Anything else you wanna say smart mouth?" I asked after a long moment of silence I spoke up. "Didn't think so."

I turned Tom on his back and leaned in close to his face. "Don't resist Tom, please. It will just get worse." I told him with as much sympathy and worry that I possibly could express.

Worried that WCKD might of heard me somehow I cleared my throat and spoke up.
"Then again you do what you want we'll probably just kill you in the end."

With the help of Kristina we picked up Tom and started walking to the meet up point. I started to think about how many ways I could tell him that I was sorry.

A/N: I hate this part so much but I hope you enjoyed my tweaked version. Sorry for any spelling/grammar errors.
