A S W E E T M A G I C

I don't know if you knew,
That there's good in the world too.

That there's a sweet joy,
Unlike anything you've felt before.
Unlike a surfer at shore.
Unlike the rush you feel now.

There's a sweet aroma,
That makes you want to dance and grin.
And laugh and twirl.
And scream and sing.

What saddens me though,
Is that you do not know what it is.

That you have experienced it once,
Or more than twice.
That you've felt such a joy.
Unlike a hug between a stuffed toy.
Unlike an accomplishment of happiness.
How could you not know this joy?

And do you know what this sweet magic is?
