"She twirled, high and low"

A dress of bright royal purple,
Emphasizing her grace.
As she sang to the low beat,
Of her heart it pounds slow.

"She cried of lost love"

Her eyes a soft brown,
Sparkling with unknown pain.
As she twirled to the sounds,
Of the flapping broken dove.

"She sang to all those broken hearts"

And her fingers gracing a dream.
A light flutter,
Her eyes slowly shutter.
She breathes deeply,
Of the harsh sounds of a heart broken apart.

"She swept a hand out towards the sky"

Her eyes drifting open,
As she gazed up towards the sky.
Tears sliding down,
As she wept along with its cry.

"And her dress drenched wet"

Clasped hands tightly joined,
Cold feet to the sore.
She softly pets her wet dress,
Smiling in memories of when they met.

"Now she twirled, thinking about the tears"

She knew nothing,
As the pain became too surreal.
Now she felt a splintering pain,
As it takes hold, it morphs into fear.

"This girl laughed, wondering why she was dancing in the rain"

Yes, her laughter rings of church bells.
Causing those around her to join in.
Now she's probably been through multiple hells,
No one to care for her,
She's alone with no kin...
