R U N A W A Y

She's alone in her bedroom,
With silent tears streaming.
She's aware,
And alert.
Her demons are screaming,
Just waiting for her to shatter.
The shadows are prowling,
Taking their precious time.
Teeth are gleaming,
And the wolves are howling.
So tell me, dear.

Where will you go now?

The sensation of goosebumps,
Sweeping her shattered pieces.
And the once again screams,
Rise to unnatural octave means.
A harmony of darkness,
So terribly harsh to harness.
So please tell me, dear.
Who wouldn't want to run away?

When the so called ray of hope,
Has lost its purpose and its need to cope?
So please answer this dear,
Why does the eye not feel pain but tears?
So what will you do?
When your days are grey and blue?
I suppose there's one answer to that.
And its but to simply,

Run away.
