Just ask it and I'm there
As if the answer to some prayer
If it kills me that's alright
So long as it gets you thru the night
Don't get me wrong just yet
I'm just hedging all my bets
Cause I don't have backup here
Only a helmet and a spear
And everyone else is gone
But don't fret I'll carry on
The others will be back once healed
So till then I'll hold this bloodstained field
Please forgive my injuries
And withhold your inquiry
I still have the strength to fight
But not to answer questions right
If I fall just leave me be
Not like there is anyone who'll see
I doubt they'd even look
Except to make sure that it took
Your helping me you know
I just don't like to let it show
In your problems I escape my own
It's like your sanity's on loan
I'll give it back I swear
Once my own mind I can bear
So never think that I won't come
You see to me it's kind of fun
