Serena's POV
Angrily prohibited from smiling toward anything that involved learning, I walk in Lake View High School as it being my very last first day. I begin to be so relieved with it, but at the same time very saddened. I had no one to share my reminiscing high school days to, except my little squad that lasted since 7th grade, but they had the same perspective as me. It wasn't as impressive to sit there and explain how happy yet sad I was to be leaving high school in May. The bell rings and we soon departed from one another with there being about 5 of us left, we smile and wave going our separate ways. My first class amazed me with it saying "JROTC" meaning Alpha flight, always the outstanding one in the past, boy was I ecstatic! Period 2 read "Environmental Systems," I said to myself that must be really boring, coming to realization that class was very boring. 3rd period was "Career Prep" I assumed it was easy and a sleep class but turned out to be the opposite of what I expected. I had to get a job in order to stay in that class. I panickrd, I hated working, I had only had a real job once, but that didn't count... I only lasted a day. 4th period was "Economics/Government" other words known as history. I hate history its stupid, who cares what happen back then?! The teacher was already annoyed with everyone, even with it being day 1 of senior year. Period number 5 was "Digital Media" inside my head "FINNALLY A TECHNOLOGY CLASS!!!!" I was happy I had been wanting a computer class since my freshman year. They never put it on my schedule until this year. Oh well, I said at least I can take it now. I walk in happy as ever, I look at the door seeing who's all in the class. The bell to start class has rung and everyone's sitting on a rolling chair with a gigantic computer monitor, and a mouse in front of them. The teacher Coach Casey is already speaking to us within the next minute. He begins to explain how his class functions and how easy it should be. I thought to myself, "how hard can this class really be?" He concludes with sitting arrangements implying that we won't be sitting there permanently only temporarily . I hate people, and I don't like talking, so coach please don't sit me by anyone I don't know. Turns out I'm by someone I know, which makes the class enjoyable to come to in the future. The bells rings for dismissal and I hurry out to go to my next class. 6th period was my last class of the day. Mrs. Elms who taught "English 4" I hate reading. So already I just wanted to go home. Luckily I got to sit anywhere I pleased. Period 7 I made it my conference time i snuck out to JROTC to do my job as a Chief. I then didn't leave home until 4:30, and that concluded my last 1st day at LVHS.
