Luke was tired. They had been stalking Michael for another two days around Perth without much success. The three boys were useless when it came to directions, so more often than not they'd end up in the other side of town and could never make it in time to see Michael still talking to fans and taking pictures. Luke missed doing all the stalking in Sydney, where he knew everything, where he knew the car he was driving and the shortcuts he was taking. Being somewhere completely different with only his two best friends was scary. He kind of wished he could be back home in the comfort of his room, but he knew meeting Michael and getting multiple cute pictures with him were a lot more worth it.

"Yo, dickhead, wake up!" Calum whined, tossing a pillow at Luke, who was wrapped up in his sheets, face dug deep into the soft hotel pillow.

"No." Luke grumbled, turning over so that his back was now facing Calum.

He didn't know what time it was, but Ashton had gone down to the hotel gym about half an hour prior, leaving Calum alone and bored while Luke tried his best to catch up on the sleep they had missed out on during all the late nights of driving around looking for Michael. Although Ashton was the only one with the license to drive late at night, Luke was still wide awake through all of it to try and show him the way. Needless to say, it didn't help much. Calum would usually just sleep in the backseat, having his way around Ashton because of their flourishing relationship. Calum was being treated like royalty, and although Luke was slightly jealous, he was happy for his best friends.

"Please get up." Calum whined again, pouting even though Luke was turned away from him. "I'm bored and lonely. My boyfriend left me."

"He didn't leave you, Calum." If Luke didn't have his eyes shut, he would've rolled them at Calum's overdramatic ways. "He's downstairs getting fit. Stop being clingy."

"Fight me."

"Guys!" Ashton busted through the door, eyes wide, chest heaving up and down heavily as he panted and body covered in sweat. Calum couldn't help but let his eyes drift up and down Ashton's body before his eyes landed on his boyfriend's face, seeing just how shocked he seemed to be.

"What?" Calum gasped as he stood up. "Is Michael downstairs? Is he here? Is there a fist fight going on in the lobby?"

"No." Ashton rolled his eyes, wiggling his phone screen with a smirk.

"Is it a leaked sex tape of Michael?"

"Calum, no." Ashton sighed. "It's an interview. Michael's interview he filmed last night remember? It just came out and believe me, Luke will want to see this."

Luke groaned, telling Ashton he could wait for it as he pulled the pillow over his head, trying to drown out the sounds as Ashton began to play the video. The questions started out as usual: asking about the tour, the album, travelling around the world. Then they got personal: relationships, family, how Michael deals with travelling around. It was the last question, however, that got Luke out of bed in a blink of an eye, rushing to Ashton's side so that he could watch what was going on.

"So, lately we have seen a lot of one person on your Twitter account. A fan account, actually. Luke likes bands, is that correct?"

"Yeah," Michael smiled widely, eyes seeming to brighten up at the mention of Luke's name. "That's his Twitter handle, yeah. By this point, I just call him Luke." He shrugged.

"Your other fans seem to be quite jealous of this...Luke. Did you know him at all before this online friendship started between you two?" The interviewer asked, leaning in closer to Michael as the red haired man bit his lower lip in thought.

"Well, not really. I had seen his tweets being retweeted onto my timeline quite a few times but I hadn't really done much about it until I announced this tour here in Australia. I followed him, then when he said Troye Sivan was his favourite person instead of me his friends started a hashtag for me to unfollow him and as a joke, I did. He's been begging me to follow him back ever since and it's actually quite funny to watch. He's such a lad though, I met him a few days ago and I think I was more excited about all of it than he was." Michael chuckled. "But he's so nice and he's so supportive, I mean I couldn't ask for better fans and Luke really brings a spotlight to himself because I know most of my fans already knew about him before I started interacting with him and he just has this chill way to do his thing, you know. He doesn't really care about what others say of him, and he's pretty outspoken from what I see on his Twitter. I wish I could be like him sometimes. Luke is great, I'm a bigger fan of his than he is a fan of mine, I think."

"Well, it's nice to see you can still have such a close relationship to fans, in a sense. That they aren't just there to get a picture with you and that kind of thing."

"Yeah," Michael nodded thoughtfully. "I love all my fans, but Luke has a special place in my heart. He's awesome."
