This book is not silent. The author is. I finally realized that people don't like me because I talk. I talk with my annoying voice. I talk and talk and talk. And I'm so annoying that with every word that leaves my mouth, another friend slowly stops listening. So I decided to stop losing my friends. I stopped talking. They noticed, so eventually I started to talk again. Everything was normal. And by "normal", I mean my word count was reset. I could talk and they would listen until the whole process started over again. And again, and again, and again. But sometimes the system faults, and my word count stays the same. And my friends start to disappear in the flood of words they don't hear.
