Tristans PoV

I woke up to a lot of screaming and shouting outside of my bedroom. I sat up and rubbed my face immediately regretting it when I hit my sensitive skin. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and looked through a crack in my door. James had Ryan by his throat up against the wall and was screaming in his face.

"You piece of scum! I swear if you ever lay a finger on him again, I will s-"

"James stop." I tried to shout but it came out like a croaky whisper.

All their heads snapped in my direction. "Tris, babe. What happened to your face?" Ryan asked trying to fool the others.

"You went too far Ryan. They know."

"We have every right to call the police." James spat, still not removing his hand from Ryan's throat.

"I'll stay away from all of you." He said surrendering. James removed his hand and punched him in the stomach. "Get out of my sight you disgusting piece of shít." He sneered and pushed him out of the door, slamming it loudly.

"Tris go back to bed yeah?" Brad smiled lightly.

I nodded and turned around to go back to my room being followed by Brad. I laid down on the bed while he sat next to me.

"You know I like kinda love you right?" He whispered. My breath hitched.

"And I know you've been through hell with that relationship with Ryan and previous ones. But you're my baby now and I'm going to spend my entire life making sure nothing bad ever happens to you again. I'm going to love you more than anyone has and anyone will. You know that right?"

"I love you too Brad." His lips suddenly smashed against mine. Our lips sloppily moved against each others in need. His hands cupped my face and he softly caressed my cheek. I pulled him on top of me and he straddled my waist. There was nothing dirty about what was happening, just pure love. Nothing else just love.

The only thing that mattered most in that moment was having the boy I loved most in my arms.
