Dog Gone

On Sunday after Church I went to Ross's house. Rydel did my nails while everybody talked. After my nails dried we we all went outside (except for Ellington. He was with his family for a month.) and played a rough game of football. It was me, Ross, and Rydel against Rocky, Ryland, and Riker. My team lost by 2 points. After a hour of football we all went inside to get some cold water. After 5 minutes of resting my mom called me.

"Hey sweetie. Sniffles has ran away!" She said through the phone.

"Oh my gosh. I will be home soon! Bye love you!" I said fast.

"Bye love you to! Hurry!" She said before I hung up.

"Ross I gotta go." I said getting up.

"Why?" He said getting up to.

"Sniffles has ran away." I said getting my bag.

"Your dog? I'm coming to help." He said grabbing his phone.

"Ok. Thanks babe." I said kissing his cheek.

I told everyone bye and we left. When we got home my mom told us where to look. Ross drove his car and I drove my moms. We searched for about an hour.

Me:
I don't see Sniffles anywhere!!

Ross:
Me neither.

Me:
What if we don't find him?😢

Ross:
Don't worry babe. We will. I promise.

Me:
Ok.

We were searching about an hour until I got a text from my mom.

Mom:
Sniffles just came home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me:
OMG YAY!!!! I will tell Ross and we will be there soon!

Me:
Sniffles just came home!!!

Ross:
Good!!! I will be at your house in 10 minutes.

I took me 5 minutes to get back to my house. When I did I gave Sniffles a lecture, then gave him a million hugs. When Ross got home he gave me a big hug. I had to give Sniffles a bath. I got in an old tee and pants. Ross went home and did the same. When he got back we went to the backyard, and got the house and shampoo ready. After putting the shampoo on Sniffles we sprayed him with the hose and scrubbed him. When we were done we put Sniffles on the porch to dry off. When I wasn't paying attention Ross grabbed the hose and sprayed me with it.

"Ross! Now I'm all wet!" I yelled giggling.

"Not as much at your about to be!" He yelled turning on the hose again.

He sprayed me until I was completely wet. He kept on spraying, so I tackled him and snatched the hose out of his hands. I sprayed him until he was completely wet to. He started running towards me, I dropped the hose and ran away. He ran past it and straight for me. He tackled me down and stared tickling me. I finally got away and started tickling him. He surrendered and I plopped down beside him. We started laughing really hard. When we stopped I laid my head down on his chest and he put his arm around me.

"I love you." He said kissing me on my forehead.

"I love you to babe." I said.

He put his arm around me. We stayed like that for 5 minutes until Ross got a text.

Ross POV

I got a text from my mom saying to come home. Me and Katie got up and said goodbye.

"Goodnight babe. I love you." I said giving her a hug.

"Goodnight. Love you to." She said.

I gave her a long kiss and then left. When I got home my mom brought me into the kitchen.

"We are going to you Grandmas tomorrow. Just for a while. We aren't spending the night." My mom said.

"Ugh. Ok." I said walking away.

"We are leaving at nine!" She said behind me.

I took a shower and went to bed. I had a long ride tomorrow. My grandma lives 4 hours away.
