"Adeline!"
Jessalyn took her in for an embrace as soon as she spotted her.
"Are you okay?" She asked with a worried look as soon as she let go of Adeline while Brandon threw out the question, looking around. "How's Cyane?"
"I'm fine. I'm just...Cyane...he..." Somehow, she choked on her word and was unable to form a full sentence.
"The doctor took him in the OT for an emergency surgery." Paige finished for her without any emotion, unraveling her ghostly existence to the rest.
Brandon immediately had a disgusted look plastered on his face. "What the fuck are you doing here, Paige Langley?"
Adeline stood in front of Brandon as he took a step towards her. "She's good, Brandon. In fact, she's the one who saves him."
"Yeah, bite me." Brandon rolled his eyes.
"I don't understand." Jessalyn frown. "Why is she even with you in the first place?"
Adeline took a deep breath.
"There's something you guys need to know."
