"catch me if you can!" yelled skykit. she is a night black she cat with blue eyes. her older brothers ashkit and frogkit, identical grey tabbys chased after her. "Gotcha!" meowed ashkit. they tussled in the reeds for a few moments till ashkit managed to pin his littermate down. "No fair! you cheated!" cryed skykit. "its not cheating when your so slow." retorted ashkit. smiling down at his sister. frogkit cought up and skidded to a halt beside them. "oh come one ashkit, let her up or stormclaw will claw our ears off again" meowed frogkit. ashkit let go of skykit. skykit scrambled up. "i got a game!" announced skykit. "its called who can dig the fastest" skykit meowed. "ya that would be a good game, if we were dogs" meowed oakkit, padding up to the other 3 kits. oakkit was almost 6 moons old. he would be made an apprentice any day now. while ashkit, frogkit and skykit had to wait another half moon. "ya you gotta admit, the game is pointless. why dont we just do what we did last night, put burrs in buzzwhiskers nest!" meowed mudkit padding up beside his brother. " no way! buzzwhisker will claw our ears off again!!" croaked frogkit backing away. "your a scaredy mouse" meowed oakkit. "i am not!" denied frogkit his fur pricking. "ya you are. i bet you couldnt even go up the river and back!" meowed oakkit. frogkit kept silent bowing his head. oh no! thought skykit. i cant let my litter mate be embarressed. "i can!" squeked skykit. "and if i can then my littermates are brave because they share the same blood." skykit meowed. "then do it" challenged oakkit. taking a step closer. "fine i will right now!" meowed skykit as she turned and ran towards the main enterence.
