My Knight of the Royal Guard (Papyrus x Reader)

MTT Resort

It'd been about a week since your meeting with with Alphys, and your ankle had healed fully. Sans and Undyne had been helping you, but Papyrus had stayed with you the whole time. Over the week, you realised you'd started blushing more around him, if that was possible, and you found you couldn't look him in the eye...socket.. anymore. This was getting out of hand. What if he found out soon? Then you'd be rejected and you'd have to leave Snowdin and your home with the skelebros. You shook those thoughts from your head. 

  Ever since you'd told her about your crush on Papyrus, Alphys wouldn't stop asking you about it. You'd discussed many different plans to get with him, but you'd rejected each one. Not because you thought they were horrible; they were actually really good!  You were just too shy and scared to actually do anything, so you left it as it was. You couldn't stop thinking about what Alphys had said to you before she'd left.

"H-Have a good t-time in the bone-zone~"

How could you have a good time? Did she mean what you thought she meant? You were pretty sure Papyrus didn't have a... Your face burned crimson. He was a skeleton, and you didn't plan on asking him any time soon. The door slammed open, tearing you away from those dirty thoughts.

"HELLO (Y/N)! HOW IS YOUR ANKLE?" It was Papyrus. Your face burned crimson, and you looked down in attempt to hide it.

"I-its okay now Paps! I can walk now.."

That last part wasn't entirely true. You hadn't really walked around enough to test it out, since Papyrus would catch you and put you back in bed.

"GOOD, HUMAN! WELL, I WAS WONDERING IF YOU'D LIKE TO COME TO MTT RESORT WITH ME TODAY?" He asked, sitting beside you. Your face lit up as you nodded quickly. You'd never been to the resort, but you'd heard a lot of good things about it, and it seemed to be 'the place' to go at the moment. You weren't going to lass this opportunity up just because of your ankle!

"I'd love to go Paps! If you don't mind me coming, that is.."

"OF COURSE I DON'T MIND! LETS GO NOW!"

Before you could do anything, you were hauled out of the bed by Papyrus, who threw you over his shoulder and ran down the stairs with you. You squealed, slapping your hand on his back gently.

"Put me down you bonehead!" You giggled as he went outside with you.

"NOT UNTIL WE GET TO WATERFALL! YOU'LL TRIP OVER AGAIN YOU CLUMSY HUMAN!"

"Hey, I'm not clumsy!"

He ran out of Snowdin with you still over his shoulder. You blushed madly, your warm face completely contrasting the rest of your frozen body. His face was so close to your-

You were broken out of your thoughts as you landed on the floor with a loud thud. Papyrus held a hand out to you, which you took.

"COME ON LAZYBONES! WE HAVE TO GET THERE BEFORE THE CROWD DOES!"

You ran hand in hand through Waterfall, and towards Hotland. His hand was surprisingly warm for a skeleton. You gazed at him admiringly as you ran. He was so strong... And confident... You couldn't help but feel sorry for him when he told you about his dreams, only for them to not come true. It made you want to wrap him up and your arms and tell him it was all okay, and that you loved him regardless.

As the two of you reached Hotland, the warmth from your surroundings warmed your frozen body up. Alphys's lab soon came into view, and you smiled softly. You would have gladly called in and stayed for an hour or two, but Papyrus seemed desperate to get to the resort quickly, for whatever reason. Smiling sadly at the distant building that was getting smaller as you walked away, you squeezed Papyrus's hand a bit.

"What's the big rush Paps? I've never seen you so excited before!" He smiled down at you, walking a little faster.

"YOU'LL SEE SOON HUMAN! JUST WAIT!"

You soon arrived at the resort. The sky was dark, with the bright 'stars' lighting it up. Even though you knew it was just the roof of the cave above you, it felt like it went on for miles.

'Oh my god...'

You gazed in awe at the huge hotel in front of you. Each window sparkled brightly above you, lighting up the darkness. You grinned at Papyrus, who was staring at the place in awe. It was so fancy, too!

"WOWIE! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!"

"It's so beautiful..."

You squeezed his hand and blushed. Of all places you could be, you were here, in the most amazing place in the entire underground. Not only that, but you were here with Papyrus... 

The two of your walked inside the building, gazing around the golden room. It was so beautiful, and it must be so expensive to stay here. You would happily stay here for a while if you had the money though. You glanced up at Papyrus, who seemed to be looking for something.

"What's wrong Papyrus..?"

He smiled down at you for a second, and carried on looking around, ignoring your question. This wasn't like him, and you were starting to get worried. Before you could question him anymore, he'd already run off to talk to some of the guests. You sighed, and walked to the left side of the hotel. There was a large dining hall, which looked just as fancy. You were about to walk in and sit at a table when someone stopped you.

"If you want to eat here, you'll have to make a reservation." They told you. You stared at them, and smiled politely.

"How much is it please?"

"500G To reserve a table for one, plus the cost of your food."

Your eyes widened and you felt a cold hand on your shoulder.

"I'll pay for the young lady~"
