I Love You

"The bone-zone is closed."

The two of you looked up to see Sans stood in the doorway. His once cheerful face was now dark and menacing, his right eye socket glowing with a bright blue flame. He was glaring at you, sending shivers down your spine. This was NOT good. You gulped sharply and stared at the smaller skeleton. He moved closer to the two of you, still glaring at you with those cold pinpricks of light in his eye sockets.

"S-Sans I can explain..!"

He stopped and stared at you, making you squeak in fear. He seemed to be staring right through you, and into your very soul.

"Don't."

He pulled you sharply away from his brother, throwing you to the floor. You landed on your front, smacking your arm against the hard floor. You'd never seen Sans look so angry before. He was usually very calm, even in the worst situations. His sudden turn of emotions shocked you, and caused you to tear up at his actions.

"SANS..."

Sans grabbed his brother's hand without saying a word. He glared at you on the floor, showing no emotion at all. You tried your best to hold the tears in your eyes, but you couldn't help a few escaping. Papyrus stared at you with a look of shock, and then sorrow. You looked up at him and gave him a forgiving smile.

"We're going home. Now."

Giving you one last glare, Sans left the room dragging his brother out. You stayed put on the floor, curling up into a ball and burying your face into your arms. Of course, if it wasn't Mettaton, it was Sans. Did everyone want to get in the way? It's not like Papyrus liked you anyway, let alone be your boyfriend. People just liked making it difficult didn't they? You could hear the skelebros' conversation still going on downstairs.

"I just don't want you to get hurt, bro."

"BUT (Y/N) THE SWEETEST, KINDEST HUMAN I'VE EVER MET! SHE WON'T HURT ME!"

Papyrus's words made you blush madly. Did he really think that way about you? It was so sweet! You stood up, wiping the tears from your eyes, and went to your bedroom door, listening out. The door creaked slightly as you leant on it.

"Look bro, I just need to talk to you back home, okay? I need to teach you some stuff..."

"AS LONG AS I CAN STILL SEE HER..."

And then the front door clicked closed. You sighed, going downstairs to the kitchen. Maybe Sans wasn't that mad at you after all. He just didn't want Papyrus to get hurt. You could understand why... You were pretty clumsy, and Sans cared so much for his brother, which was adorable. You'd already lost your family and normal life when you fell down here, so you knew how it felt to lose something precious to you.

After eating your breakfast and getting dressed, you decided to go stock up on cinnamon buns and bisicles from the shop in Snowdin. They were pretty yummy!

You pulled your boots on and stepped outside. The snow crunched under your feet as you went towards Snowdin, creating footprints behind you. The falling snow around you looked beautiful as it fell, swirling around you gracefully. You kept your head down, staring at the ground in front of you.

You couldn't help but let your mind wander back to all your times with Papyrus. You were beginning to wonder if you'd ever get to tell him how you felt, or whether someone else would get to him before you did. After all that had happened, you wouldn't be surprised. Your cheeks heated up warmly, contrasting with the rest of your body.

You finally arrived at the shop, stepping inside. The light from the fire behind the counter made the room glow orange, embracing and accepting the customers that dropped by. You stomped your feet on the mat a few times, making the snow that was once stuck to your boots fall all over the floor. It was warm inside, making your cheeks, nose and tips of your ears turn pink. In truth, you looked adorable wrapped up in your winter coat with your pink face. The scent of the small cabin was familiar to you, the heavenly smell of vanilla filling the room. You sighed dreamily, turning to the lady on the counter. She smiled warmly at the sight of you.
