Princess for a Day

You woke up comfortably to the smell of pancakes. You inhaled deeply and smiled.

'Did Paps make me breakfast?' You wondered to yourself, sitting up in bed. Swinging your legs out of bed, you rose to your feet just as someone knocked on the door.

"MAY I COME IN HUMAN? I BROUGHT YOU BREAKFAST!"

"Sure, come on in!" The door swung open gently, and Papyrus came in carrying a plate of pancakes. He looked shocked when he saw you.

"(Y/N) YOU HAVE TO REST!" He rushed over to the desk where he put the plate, and laid you back down on the bed. You clung to his chest.

"B-but Papyrus, I'm fine!" You protested, but he held your arms and pinned you in place. You blushed and looked away.

"YOU HAVE TO STAY IN BED FOR A WHILE, OKAY?" He sounded concerned, and you looked up at him.

"Okay Papyrus.." He lifted your chin up gently to make you look at him, and your face reddened.

"DON'T BE SAD (Y/N).. I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL LOOK AFTER YOU!" He sat you up and put the plate on your lap. You smiled softly and began eating the pancakes.

"Thank you..." You really were grateful for Papyrus taking time to look after you. It felt special to have him care for you so much. If you didn't know better, you'd say you had a good chance with him, but he was pretty oblivious to your feelings. 

"OH BY THE WAY (Y/N)... DOCTOR ALPHYS IS COMING OVER LATER TO CHECK YOUR ANKLE."

Good, another girl around! Not only that, but you could have a proper conversation with her about the various anime you'd watched since you last met up. You and Alphys were very close, since you had so much in common. You both loved anime, were shy and very smart.

"O-oh good!" You smiled as you finished the pancakes. They were delicious, as usual. Papyrus seemed pleased with your reaction as he took your plate.

"UNTIL SHE ARRIVES I'LL BE LOOKING AFTER YOU!" He said, going to the door. You blushed as you realised you had most of the day with just you and Papyrus... Alone... You felt a hand on your forehead.

"YOUR VERY RED AGAIN... ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE NOT ILL..?"

"I-I'm fine!"

"WELL IF YOU SAY SO... I'M GOING TO GET SOMETHING! DON'T MOVE OKAY?" 

Papyrus left the room with the plate, leaving you in silence. You glanced over at his desk, which was still covered in the action figures.

'I didn't know Paps liked these kind of things... It's kind of cute though..'  You smiled to yourself as you picked up the book that was also on the desk. The cover read 'The Human World: All about the Human Race', and a page was marked about halfway through. You opened it to the page and immediately blushed. 

'Papyrus reads this?!'  You stared at the words and diagrams in the book. The title at the top of the page read 'Love, Reproduction and Intercourse'. Your hands shaked as you skipped over the words, which seemed to go into a lot of detail. At the bottom of the page was a diagram of-

You snapped the book shut and shoved it back onto the desk. Why was Papyrus reading this?! His poor innocence no longer existed now... Why did he want to know about that subject in particular? You supposed if he was learning about humans, he better do it properly.

"I'M BACK (Y/N)! I BROUGHT YOU SOME THINGS!" Your friend came back through the door carrying a lot of various items, completely oblivious to your tomato coloured face. You moved over a little as he sat down beside you, dumping all the stuff on the floor next to him.
