*Isabelle's pov*

Rydel takes a deep breath and says "Ellington I have to tell you something"

"Go ahead, you can tell me anything" Ellington smiles

She takes a deep breath

"There's nothing I would ever do to ruin our friendship, you know that right?" Rydel asks

"Of course.."

Rydel just looks at me and back at Ellington

"I have to take a risk, Ellington" she pauses "I think I'm in love with you"

Ellington looks at Rydel like she's crazy. He stands up, shocked.

"Rydel.. I-I" He stutters

"You don't need to say anything. I thought you should know" she says

"I'm going to leave you guys alone, is that alright Delly?" I ask her

She says yes and I leave

*Rydel's Pov*

I can't believe I told him. Right now he's speechless

He sits by me again and says "Rydel, you know I love you like a sister right?"

"Yeah and that's why I'm going to get over these feelings I have towards you" I tell him

"What about Jess? She deserves to know" Ell explains

"I'm sorry." I begin to tear up

"Don't be, thanks for telling me" he replied

He leaned in to give me a hug and I gave him a hug back

I hug him tight knowing that I could never have him

We pull away but his face is close to mine as I could feel him breath on me. I just smile at him and he smiles back. He moves a bit closer causing me to get butterflies in my stomach.  I Lean in  also hearing my heart beating faster as he gets closer to my lips.
I lean in, knowing that I could finally kiss him but I slowly stopped. I place my forehead on to his as his nose is touching mine. He rubs his nose onto mine smoothly and gently.

"We can't kiss" I whisper

"I know, I'm sorry" he whispers back

" I wish you were mine" I tell him

"I'm sorry" he repeats

He kisses my cheek and leaves.

I sit on my bed shocked

Iz enters my room.

"Are you okay? What happened?" She asks

"I'm okay. I just need a hug" I give her a weak smile

She walks over to me and hugs me.

"We almost kissed" I whisper into her ear

She jumps up surprised

"If you guys almost kissed that has to mean something!" She says so happily and her smile widens 

I give her a sad look

"Right?" Her smiles disappears. I shake my head no

"I'm afraid not, he's getting married"

"I'm sorry" Isabelle apologizes

"It's okay"

"Hey, if you want I can spend the night in your room" she smiles at me

"Thanks Iz, but what about Ross?" I ask her standing up
