When my parents came home last night I debating on telling them about the Crush and the note but I decided not to. We ate dinner together and watched How I Met Your Mother. After that I decided to go upstairs and start on my homework. I didn't have much, so it didn't take long.

Jack, Matt or Mrs. Flyzik never did bring back the extra sugar she borrowed. I better go tell my mom about it in case she decides to start cooking tonight.

Heading down the stairs, the doorbell rings and I say I will get it. I walk up to the door and it's Jack and Matt.

'Hey Alex,' Matt says and I smile and look at him then at Jack.

'Alex, honey who is it?' My mom calls from the living room.

'Um you c...can com...come in i...if you guys wa...want t...to,' I say to Matt and Jack. I turn to see my mom standing by the doorway of the living room. 'Oh hello Matthew and Jack right?' she and they both say hello back. 'What brings you boys over here and with sugar?'

'Mrs. Flyzik need...needed some sug...sugar ear...earlier and J...Jack cam...came over to get som...some and she never told h...him ho..how much t...to get, so I ju...just ga...gave him the who...whole bag,' I said to my mom. 'I was just ab...about to come do...down and tel...tell you bu...but then...then the door...doorbell rang.'

Alex stop stuttering

'Oh, well thanks for bringing it back Matthew. And Jack,' my mother says taking the bag of sugar from Matt and then walking into the kitchen.

I look at Matt and Jack and then to the floor.

'Oh!' Matt says suddenly and I jump and look up at Matt. I start to blush from jumping.

'Sorry, I just remembered I had to tell your mom something be right back,' Matt says and walks towards the kitchen leaving Jack and I standing by the door.

'So, um have you started on the English paper?' Jack asks me.

'I hav...have it mos...mostly done, you?'

'I haven't even started it yet.'

'Oh um yo...you hav...have lots of...of time.'

Matt puts his hands into his coat pocket and pulls out a few Hershey Kisses, 'Would you like a kiss?'

'Um wha...what?'

'A Kiss?' he opens his hand and he's only a Kiss.

'Oh. Ye...yeah sure,' I take it from his hand, 'I've al...always love...loved these, but nev...never can fi..find them after Val...valentine's Day.'

'Yeah, but I think there's a store down town that sells them all year,' Jack says and Matt walks back towards us with my mom followed behind.

'Be sure to tell your mother hi for me Matthew,' my mom says and she stands next to me.

'Ready?' Matt asks Jack and looks between him and I.

'Yup, whenever you are,' Jack replies looking at Matt.

'I guess I'll see you tomorrow in Math, Alex,' Matt says.

'Yup, do...don't for...forget your home...homework.' I say.

Don't forget your homework?! Alex you moron.

I look down at the floor and Matt and Jack open the door and start to walk out the door, Matt going first then Jack turning, 'Hey Alex?'

'Ye...yeah?'

He puts his hand in his pocket again and pulls out some Kisses, 'You can have these till you get some more.' I open my hand and he drops five Kisses in my hand.
