Andy gave the keys one final jingle as the door unlocked. Wolf exhaled as she pushed it open and crossed the room to the couch. She flopped, belly side down, on the black cushion.
"Tired?" Andy smiled as he closed the front door behind him.
"Exhausted! I love your friends but they really know how to wear a girl out." Wolf smiled.
Andy shook his head and chuckled as he hit the brew button on the chrome coffee maker behind him before walking over to the couch. He gently placed his arm on Wolf's lower back.
"You killed 'em today, tiger." He said proudly as he caressed her back.
"Oh shucks." Wolf smiled and blushed.
"Wait a second." Andy said pausing.
"What?" She replied sitting up.
"I have you all myself."
"And?"
Andy waggled his eyebrows. "TICKLE FIGHT!!!" He shouted before beginning to tickle her all over. He was quite shocked to see Wolf's lack of reaction.
"You're not ticklish?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"Only in one spot." Wolf smiled mischievously.
"I'd ask where but I'm fairly certain there's no way in hell you're going to tell me." Andy chuckled.
"Good guess." Wolf said playfully.
Before Andy could reply, a loud buzzing sound interjected itself into the conversation. Wolf pulled her phone out of her pocked and stared at the screen with an arched brow.
"Unknown number." She mouthed to Andy as she put the phone to her ear.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Yes is this Wolf Odinson?" A voice replied on the other end.
"Yes- this is she."
"This is Falkreath Meadow Hospital. We have your mother here. She apparently sustained some kind of concussion."
"Is she alright?!" Wolf asked leaning forward, the concern resonating in her voice.
"She's stable. But she's resting. We wanted to give you an update because-"
Wolf cut the voice off. "Where is my father?"
"Umm...only one patient came in."
"MY FATHER! WAS MY FATHER WITH HER WHEN YOU BROUGHT HER IN?!" Wolf screamed, tears stinging her eyes.
"No. No one has seen or heard from Mr. Odinson in about two days. Now, the police-"
"Call me if there's any change with my mother." Wolf said closing the phone. She felt the tears starting to flow down her cheeks.
"What's wrong?" Andy asked, gently putting a hand on her leg.
Wolf kept her gaze ahead of her, void of any emotion.
"My father put my mother in the hospital. And no one knows where he is. I'm guessing he's on his way here to get his play thing back."
"Hey, you're so much more than that.?" Andy smiled softly, trying to comfort her.
"Not to him."
"Wolf-"
"Stop! Just stop! All I am to him Andy is his property. And he will do anything to get it back. He will hurt anyone who gets in his way- even you." Wolf felt her voice trailing. She stood quickly.
"I-I have to go. I have to leave now. He's probably on his way here." Wolf said as she stood and turned to bolt for the door. Andy was quick to grab her wrist.
"Wolf stop!" He yelled loudly enough to get her attention. "You aren't alone in this." Andy pulled Wolf to him and hugged her tightly to him, feeling her sob beneath him. She wrapped her arms around hi,. "I'm never letting you go. I will protect you, Wolf. I promise you that."
Wolf cried harder into his chest. She felt immense sorrow, fear and joy all at the same time.
"I love you." A soft voice whispered above her. Wolf pulled away and looked at him.
"What?"
Andy gave a soft smile. "I said I love you."
Wolf felt her heart jump in her throat. A smile crept across her face, her stomach tingling with butterflies.
"I-I love you too, Andy." Wolf felt the heat tickling her cheeks from her blushing. Andy nearly dropped dead from how adorable she looked right now.
Wolf let you a long yawn, her tongue curling like a puppy.
"Time for bed?" Andy smiled. Wolf nodded and gave a smile. Andy pulled her to him and wrapped her legs around his waist, her arms naturally wrapped themselves around his neck. His strong arms cradled her as he used his strong (gazelle) legs to carry her up the spiral stairs.
"I'm not too heavy?" Wolf asked softly into his shoulder.
"Of course not." he replied laying her down on the bed. Wolf pulled the soft duvet over her body and curled into a little ball on her side. As her eyelids drooped closed, an arm wrapped around her. A smile crawled across her face as a pair of soft lips were pressed against her neck and cheek.
"I will protect you. At any costs, Wolf. You gave me a reason- to live, laugh, to sing. I will always be here for you. I love you, Liebchen." Andy caressed her arm softly as he spoke.
"I love you too, Andy." Wolf mumbled into his arm as she drifted to sleep. Her hand snaked it's way to Andy's and their fingers entertwined just as sleep washed over the couple.
